lol...well I guess since I have NO vocals yet to my music, I'm in the clear.
However, I'd like to add that this is why we have "The Lyric" sections in our CD fold out brochures. I remember back in the 80's & 90's when I couldn't wait to buy that tape of Led Zepplin (who by the way had the longest song I had ever listened to, but it didn't matter cause they rocked)
Back then I'm sure everyone listened to the lyrics because they actually meant something, or was it due to the fact everyone was stoned?
...but then again, you had that one group of guys in the back corner saying"yeah man, I was there."
My father told me (when he was in Vietnam) the song they constantly played was "Paint it Black" and they guys would hang on every word.
I miss those days of righteous lyrics, when guys like Bob Dylan wrote about something that mattered to everyone.
It's sad that today, kids don't give a rats arse about lyrics.
It's all about the rave parties (techno, rap etc..)
Music these days..suck ..but that's my opinion.
I even hate the alternative selections..Hell, in the 90's at least Pearl Jam had something to say..now a days the lyrics we hear is either about how much he enjoyed himself in the bathroom or destroyed his girlfriends sweater. I'm so sick of hearing little skinny, whining, black eyeliner wearin', My dads pissed at me, so I'm gonna join a rock band, alternative bands.
But...that's just me...
