Whenever you guys put up anything that is "flutey" I play along with you.
Not because I think I am improving on what is already great but because I want to have fun with what you are doing. I love triplets, the melody and the fact that it was without vocal. It is mindful of something Billy Mclaughlin would do.
I think you and I would have an amazingly fun time just putting together something with acoustic guitars and flute. That would be a real thrill.
There's no singing because frankly, I can't sing a lick. I mean, I'm bad beyond belief. I make karaoke people sound professional.
I have a much easier time expressing myself with the melodies on guitar.
Shoot, I play flute because I cannot sing. What's nice about having no vocal on your piece, is that I only need to not get in the way of the guitar. With vocals I have to not only watch for the guitar part but I have to not step on the toes of the vocalist as well. It gives me a tad more freedom to provide a "tastier" accompaniment.
