Hello Sanshouheil,
Hadn't come across you for a long time and so had a wizz down your songs on profile... I liked the last one 'Had Enough' for its wheezy singing really like the singer had had enough; and like at the end where the rythm pulls itself sort of to a stop like it has had enough as well.
The effect might be entirely coincidental but it worked for me... not in any religious or uplifting way I hasten to add though, and in fact I find it hard to imagine any of the songs bringing anyone to the way the truth and the light... which from my point of view is a good thing!
But I like what you are doing over there across the pond Kung Fu, and I wish I was close enough to come and jam with you to see if we could get some religio/atheistic interplay going, as often the most interesting stuff comes from opposite poles being brought together.
My songs have sometimes been described as being spiritual though not religious.
I sometimes feel I miss out a bit here in the secular UK, but I did have a very good friend once who was a devout Christian, and he was part of a performing tour called Sun-Song which had some really beautiful uplifting songs... and at times sung by some really beautiful uplifting girls who I was much more taken by than the religious stuff!
I really miss those days and that crowd... it seems ironic that I generally seem to like religious people more than secular; if only I could go along with the fairy story bit!
Cheers guys and keep on rocking!
