I would be very gratful if anybody who looks at this forum would take some time to listen and comment on my songs I have on my site on Bandmix. I am putting songs on every day or so.
Please be gentle with any reviews but I will take on board any constructive comments.
Thanks everyone

Distant Smiles: One of the better overall melodies I've heard yet from you. I suppose that has to do with the more unique vocalist .... still a bit lacking in the hook aspect though - it seems that the verse melody is stronger than the chorus - or at least about the same. the hook isn't quite ... it's just sitting there not lifting up from the verse. gotta figure out how to make that chorus soar. It's the best song I've listened to that you have posted on 5/13/09 and from a personal perspective, I really really dig this one. but I know it lacks a few elements that you'd like it to have to appeal to a broad audience and I recognize where you've not hit the mark ... you have a melody that grows on you with this - and in my opinion, that's a much stronger song. but there isn't instant gratification from a sure fire hit you in the face hook (that a listener will tire of with repeated listens) ... so commercially, you're still not there unless suddenly some of the listings ask for really good songs instead of clones - cus this is a really good song.
The other songs "that are good songs" seem imcomplete and their is a timing problem with the drums and the rest of the insturments. They are like song ideas waiting for something more to happen. Good stuff but needs more work to be commercial, if that is what your looking for.
