In reality though, if you gave a million monkeys a million type writers, all you would really get is at least 500,000 broken type writers.

p.s. That looks like a nice place to live. But I need medical facilites and such within speeding distance, or I get paranoid.

Zip - there's 5 or 6 family practitioners within a 10 mile radius...4 grocery stores in a 16 mile radius...hospital's about 14 miles away...gas stations start at 6 miles from here...3 bars within 4 miles (all with music)...but my friend with the still is only 3 miles, & there's dealers all over the place...LOL...hell...the nation's capital is a mere 100 miles away from here!

What really blows my mind is how prevalent heroin is around here. I thought I was moving away from all that when I came here, but I think it's worse here, percentage-wise, than it is in the city where I came from. Seems like every week there's an overdose or three within like 25 miles of my house. Weird, that.

I sawr a show once about how much wacky tobaccy was being grown in WV, and all the hidden hollows with booby-traps and such...
Now I dont see weed as harmful, but all the booby-traps and trap setters are.

Damned shame, that.

I dont know what its like out there, but if everyones lives are depressing enough, I guess I can see why theres a bunch of drugs around.

That makes it no fun though. Supposed to be wholesome and woodsy and fish and hunt. Go to church. Not do heroin, and set traps.

You should start a cult and drive all non-wholesome types out with Pitchforks.

I'm gonna buy myself a camera and take some pictures around this area.

I dunno about the traps & stuff. Saw a buncha pot hanging under a lil bridge once, but decided against going in to investigate for that very reason. I later heard the guy got busted anyway.

This area isn't the "depressed WV" that everyone pictures. It's still growing, in spite of our attempts to slow or stop the growth. We are actually considered a Wash DC suburb in this area, & the MARC trains take commuters into the city every day.

It is awful pretty though. I've been here since '84, & it seems like its about at the level of the area I lived in when I was in my teens. Back then I was in the Balto-Washington corridor, as they called it. I really hope that that sort of "development" doesn't happen here. 'Twould ruinate it.

The population has more than tripled in the last 25 years, as far as I can tell by the traffic congestion.

I haven't heard from my insurance co about the crushed car, so I called the shop. They say they totalled it. Called the ins co to ask why I haven't yet been notified. The adjuster hasn't yet been to see the car, but I should get a call tomorrow, they say.

I best get blue book value for that thing or I'll be mondo-pissed. It was in great shape.

Anyone have any hints to make sure things go my way?

uhh- get an expensive lawyer? That always seems to make everything go one's way. Worked for me once on a traffic ticket. Worked for OJ and others too. (-Not the same thing I know) -just a suggestion- and probably a stupid one at that
