What do you think, I helped make this music happen, I put so much into this music it is extremely difficult for me to even listen to, we recorded this at Sugar Hill Studios in 1996 :?

Damn, it's gonna take a while to go through the whole thing. But I'll listen and then come back to tell you what I thought.

Holy shyt! Whoever sang "Star" sounds a whole lot like someone I know. Their voices are ridiculously similar lol

I liked "Ecstasy" (don't look at me like that). I think it was a bit different from the others. So was "Transferrence," but I, personally, don't like the vocals.
Sounds well-produced and intact.

Thats funny HK, do you have a mullet also? just kidding. I must apologize to everyone, last week was a bit difficult. I hope I didn't insult anyone, I was blowing off a little steam Sunday.
Hey Andragon, that is a very talented musician I had the privilage of working with, she has a tribute band down here, her name is Myrna Sanders the name of her band is Cosmic Pearl (Janis)
Ecstasy and Transference are both me singing, I am also singing Room 325, Hold On To You, and Wander Off, and I am also singing in every Harmony you hear, sometimes twice LOL! this was an inde project we played cover tunes as well, and could perform this music exactly as you hear it on this recording live, we would perform live Thur. Fri. & Sat.
We would keep the proceeds from 2 of those nights and save the third nights proceeds and that was the budget for the following week (recording session,) during this time we would also do pre-production this is something any serious artist should understand, pre-production is done to keep from wasteing that very expensive studio time, do you know what type of sound you want on the guitars, keyboards, can you lay down your basic tracks without the vocals to guide these instruments?
With today's technology you can write, arrange, and record your music, but when you go to really record your stuff you had better not be wasting time and you had better have your act together because the music buisness is a tough cruel world and trust me they FORGET YOU VERY QUICKLY!
Sorry, sometimes I get up on my soap box and go into left feild.
Anyway everyone in this band was a lead singer in their own right we had 5 part vocal harmonies and with the 3 gigs, pre-prod. and 1 night a week recording session that is 4 nights a week and sometimes it went to 5 night's a week, with all the B. S. and the individual agenda's it just tore the band apart and that is why I say be up front when you are putting a project together it will save you and everyone a lot of wasted time and heartache and destroyed friendships, because whether it is clear to you or not it (WILL BE) on down the line. THAT IS WHY I SAY this music is difficult for me to listen to, FOR YEARS I COULDN'T LISTEN TO IT.
The good news is now I can.
You HAVE TO FORGIVE PEOPLE WHEN YOU FEEL THEY HAVE WRONGED YOU NOT FOR THEM BUT FOR YOU.
My favorite song of all time is called Heart Of The Matter.
A lot of people think the name of the song is "Forgiveness" but that is exactly what this song is about, it is MY ANTHEM and ironically I find myself a HYPOCRITE IN THE PRACTICE that is a very strong word but whether we want to admit it or not we all can be.
So in our persuit of personal perfection please trod very carefully and I hope you wind up with No Regrets (I feel a song title here) and that is in my opinion a physical impossabilty ( THE IDEA IS TO MINUMIZE REGRETS) as much as possible in love, work and music.
So I wish you luck my brother and sister musicians.

No Remorse is a song lol
Anyways, yea, it's sad when someone can't tell you straight up that they just don't wanna be in the band, but continue to make up excuses n shyt.

And it's not the same singer... hmm maybe it's her alias lol jk
Good stuff, man.

You HAVE TO FORGIVE PEOPLE WHEN YOU FEEL THEY HAVE WRONGED YOU NOT FOR THEM BUT FOR YOU.

Thats good: very profound.
I have also had hardships and heartbreaks in bands.. whenever you get a bunch of creative, talented individuals together, there's bound to be friction. It'll either work or it wont- but right off the bat, sometimes (as with a love affair ) you just dont know until you give it time. I dont think anybody could immediately asess (sp?) a particular situation and be able to see into the future what the relationships of all of the musicians will be down the line, just my .02 cents.

BTW- I was a red 'x' too and had to start my acct all over again, but I think I heard that there's a simpler solution..

I was going to make a joke like "I was a red "x" once but then I had to quit".. or something./ lol ..

Nice paragraph, though J, Really.
