I know i'm kinda late in the coversation but that thing that you twirl is actually called a Bullroarer. Authentic Didg's are made from termite hollowed eucalyptus and like bluesguitargrl said you play it buy buzzing the lips simialar to a trumpet and using different vocalizations through it, such as cherps and barks, tongue twops, vowel and consenunt sounds and such all while maintaining a constant drone. As for jamming, i only play with a group of guys every sunday.
