Obamanation is a bigotted power hungry slug. Clinton is a pathological lier and will do anything for power. We are in deep sh*t.
You could be right.

I think McCain is a man who has tried very hard to have a principled political career. He said he learned from that ONE mistake, and apparently he did. He did nothing illegal, and was never charged with any crime. That's a long way to go back to find dirt on McCain. That's pretty damn good, if you ask me.
But just because he may be a principled man, does not mean he will make a good president.
I'm not very happy with any of the choices this year either, but Democracts control congress right now, so they are steering our economy, not the president. We are in war. There is a terrorist threat to civilization right now, and McCain is the man, on the war front. I feel there is no choice for me. I wish there were, but I don't see it.
btw...
McCain as president can do one thing, which he most certainly will do. He can veto pork projects that come across his desk. Bot Clinton and Obama have a nice resume filled with pork barrel projects for their states, guess how many McCain has for his? "0"
That's right. He has introduced or supported NOT ONE SINGLE pork project in his entire political career. His reasoning? In effect "Arizona is doing fine without pork projects, and I have seen too many times, how these types of deals lead to corruption, there are congressmen in prison right now because of it, not to mention it is a waste of the taxpayer's money."
So, I think he will turn out to be a good president. Finding a cleaner politician would be hard to do. He understands the military's needs. He understands what war is, from the perspective of someone who suffered five years as a POW in one, so I doubt he is anxious to send us to war without cause, since he knows first hand the price paid for it. He will be a voice for Campaign finance reform. He has promised to veto EVERY bill containing pork barrel projects and make the sponsors of those bills famous (as he puts it). He will not raise our taxes.
I think we could do far worse than McCain.
Is he ideal? I don't think so.
But he has, so far, alot more positives to me, than negatives.
