This is all smoke & mirrors to disguise the fact they can't play my music. They talk music, not play it. So, I exposed them for the note nerds they are. I don't need nerds posing as musicians and that offends them. Its ok. I know they can't play together, let alone play my music. As robotic as it is, they can't play it. I prove it everyday. But we've got a bigger problem on our hands and I'm about to adress it firmly.

musicians who actually can hear chord changes hear those notes in a bass line and easily recognize Cm7.

there's nothing about running lines w 1/4 notes that define a Cm7 , Fm7, G7 or Dm7b5 chord that should you find confusing, intimidating, or bedazzling. it's simple, basic and rudimentary harmony. yet you can't hear it?

most people can hear the changes in a simple 12 bar minor blues....it now makes a little more sense to me how and why you so often play out of tune!

it's those cloth ears of your's that don't allow you to hear simple harmony and chord changes.

damn...that's gotta suck.

like Mimp...you need to spend a lot of time working w other musicians in a BAND situation if you're EVER to learn how to hear chord changes, simple harmony.....and understand forms as simple as a 12 bar blues!
