Hillary will never catch the number of delegates that Obama has, and the delegates are what counts at convention. As a matter of fact about 50 previous Hillary delegates just switched to Obama in the last week or so.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
McCain looked dead in the water too. Now he's the nominee. What if the DNC backtracks on not counting Florida and Michigan? Not necessarily just give them back to Hillary but do a re-vote? It seems unlikely, but many voters are not happy, because it wan't them that moved the primaries up. They want to be heard. Don't be surprised if some compromise isn't worked out.
What if Obama is not the golden boy anymore, because people respect Hillary's perseverence and she is bolstered by 3 consecutive wins?
Having a second look at Hillary, maybe Democrats delerium wears off, and they realize that Obama is nowhere near as well versed on the issues as Hillary is. Look at them in debates. I've seen them all. Obama stumbles all the time, and he speaks politico-speak, almost never anything substantive. Hillary hardly pauses, and rattles off facts and figures like it is second nature. She gives more realistic and detailed answers, and is clearly FAR MORE experienced in world affairs and domestic affairs than Obama is.
She has visited 80 countries as a representative of this nation. It doesn't matter that most of the time it was as figure head, rather than a lawmaker at the time. She visited, she discussed policy, she represented the President even more than a Vice President would have. They KNOW her. She is well known, and has contacts with leaders worldwide.
She has been a Senator longer than Obama has. She had more successes in her personal career before entering politics than Obama did. She is by far, more capable a leader than Obama is. She has been around the block much more than Obama has, everywhere from the State to the Federal level.
It amazes me that people are so sucked into someone who hasn't proven himself at all yet.
He's a nice guy. He speaks well. He looks nice.
Remember how many people elected Bush because he seemed like the kind of guy you'd want to have a beer with?
Now Democrats are about to make the same mistake? LOL
I think some of them wake up, and things could change. Delegates can switch their positions. Negative info can come out on Obama. Security threats can appear out of nowhere, and if that happens. Democrats go with Clinton again.
Clinton on talk shows is hinting that she may accept Obama as a Vice Presidential nominee. That is what Democrats really want. the so-called "dream ticket" and she is smart enough to throw that possibility into the ring, before he does. Maybe Democrats go with Clinton on that hope, believing they will get both of them.
One thing is for sure...
That NOTHING is SURE in this election.
It has been one of the most amazing elections I have witnessed.
