Dane, did you watch those videos?

Thanks for bumping those GT.

I can't say that the Molyneaux is speaking the whole truth. But he does raise a very interesting conundrum.

Save the TORTOISE.

If our government has become so good at protecting endangered species, why were they killing them in the name of protecting them? Go one step further...

We the government are just killing citizens... To protect them.

And george says I need help.

Without the stinking Federal govt we in the South would have freed the slaves peaceably just as every other country in the world (excluding certain in the Mideast).

There would have been no segregation laws to overturn.

FedGov is an evil. Not a necessary one. Just an evil.

wow...you really are naive. I'm from Texas, farther west that you are and we have been at the center of cattle trade since Amarillo was founded.

most citizens are outraged by a law that was conceived in the 1800's and decimates the land by overgrazing of domesticated livestock of all kinds..

Show us "most" people who are complaining about this man's cattle in the middle of nowhere. Heck, show me one from the state of Nevada who isn't in FEDERAL government.

You can't do it because that isn't true. You are being played for a fool by Harry Reid.

Those videos you won't download blow huge holes in every argument you've made with the simple common sense that God gave a cow.

Firstly, the Federal Government has no right to claim land not currently owned by an individual. If anything, that land is public and should administered by the State of Nevada. The rancher offered to pay these bogus fees to the State of Nevada since the day they were imposed.

Secondly, the Federal government itself made a decision before any of this came up to destroy those turtles that it claims they are "protecting" from a few cows eating grass in 160,000 acres. Heck, they've been nuking Nevada and testing weapons on top of them for the last 80 years. You actually believe that crap about protecting them?

Thirdly, through the use of these bogus regulations, fees, and intimidation the government has run off EVERY RANCHER who worked the land over the last century except this one, who had the guts to oppose their corrupt landgrab.

The Federal government is lying to the public and its just too obvious. That video points out at least a half dozen ways. You ought to watch it, or admit that you don't really know what you're talking about on the issue.

very Christian-like spech there buddy.. if you think I am the only one that thinks Bundy has broken the law for 20 years and going, then you need to digest the story some more.. MANY MANY people out west want to start game preserves and sh*t, fencing out open range cattle is nearly impossible since that scrub land is nearly usesless anyhow, when the business entity plants the lush pasture on property/private that will feed the elk, deer, antelope the open range cattle break the fences wanting some of that..

for every video such as those(presume they are ultra right-wing propagandist videos) I could find videos making out the whole "open range" problems that exist.. everything from disease control, ruination of lands used for grazing and associated fees collected by the Federal gov't.. ranchers killing protected species such as wolves claiming the wolves detroy too many sheep and calves.. when in reality the greed by these large scale ranchers causes their law breaing once again shootin endangered species..pollution by open range cattle to cleatr mountain streams, in reality, streams rivers of all kinds.. the cattle causing tortoises to be come extinct.. oh it's a mess a mess I've been aware of before many posting here, many that have not studied the problem from both sides like I have and should be considered unknowledgable enough to NOT have an opinion especially the brain washed far right conservative neo-cons..

Most of us choose not to be slaves to a totalitarian government that has gone too far. We are free men and the government is supposed to serve us, not the other way around. BLM works for the citizens. In Nevada the citizens say they should leave Bundy alone. Case closed.

Again....it's 160,000 acres. Cows, deer, turtles, antelope....they all have plenty of room. It's obvious for anyone who thinks about it for a nanosecond. You have been lied to and easily fooled.

And we're still waiting for even one name of any citizen of Nevada not working for the Federal Government land-grab who has complained about Bundy....just one.

let us debate the extinction of species taking place by having those shit-stained cattle romping on "MARGINAL LAND" marginal land at best ..is it worth it to have a species of tortoise become extinct because ranchers(those that have cronies in high places assigning them a PERMIT to graze) who are too greedy to give up something(open range system) that is now an obsolete and out of style institution?.. read about what NEVADA did when it comes to making laws associated with open range..msee how NEVADA AGREED to things/laws set down by the feds.. read your lessons all of you! don't listen to Koch Bros. propaganda..

Is it worth it to have a tortoise become extinct for nuclear testing, mining, housing expansion, water management, military readiness, or a solar panel construction site?
Pick one, or pick all.

I guess Dane doesn't mind paying $100.00 for a good steak. The only way those ranchers can make it is by cutting cost. Dane have you priced beef lately? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/04/12/ri ... h-options/
