I didn't know he was dead. Peter Frampton will appear at the Windsor Caesar's with special guests Robert Cray and Don Felder. Each will be doing sets of their best material. That should be pretty good.

that should be a good show, indeed.

felder's bio "heaven and hell" was a good read but wow, it's hard for me to listen to eagles tunes now w/o thinking about what jerks henley and frey are.

Biographies are like binoculars, you may see something close up but you'll probably miss the big picture.

well, he definitely had an axe to grind, and yeah we're getting HIS point of view only... but he does make a pretty compelling case for him getting screwed around by a couple of egotistical meglomaniacs.

is there another kind?

Didn't hear about it but Frey was the "boss" and they always have to make the hard decisions. What exactly was Felder's complaint?

Oh nevermind....don't need the extra drama of gossip.

When I read a horrrid biography they did on Janis Joplin (in the late 70's) was then that I swore off of biographies all together. These authors are basically full of sh*t, they often lie through their teeth...all in the name of "human Interest content" to get their books to sell... Half of them shook hands one day with the celeb...and suddenly they are the resident expert on the celeb's life.

If you guys get famous, get your best friends (Not mangers, agents or groupies) to write the book. It will still be biased, but definately more truthful.

Just IMHO
