But even then.. what's wrong with saying "right wing extremist"? There have been violent acts committed by those exact people. If left-wing extremists were know to commit violent acts, then they would be addressed as such also.
But why would a right-winger take offense at "right wing extremist"??
It's a fair question....but have you ever heard of a
left-wing extremist? They surround you....
Left-wing extremists are ALL that the Democrat Party has nominated as their candidate since Kennedy died. Has the left-wing extremist media informed you that Obama entered politics as the candidate of the Socialist Party? They don't get more left-wing extremist than that!?!
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/06/07/Obama-Caught-Lying-Again-He-WAS-Member-of-New-Party-Says-KurtzLeft-wing extremists run the Senate and own much of the Judicial. They
are the mainstream media, and polls have shown that upwards of 91% of all employed journalists support these left-wing
extremists. But show me where they have been demonized, marginalized, or even just ridiculed once. You can't do it, because it is the left-wing extremists who apply the term "extremist" to anyone who opposes them on a strictly intellectual level.
What is the goal of news and news-talk programs broadcasting nonprofessional, non-educated opinions about the nature of the bomber(s) being "right-wing extremists" when there is absolutely no evidence of that? They have presumed that scenario on EVERY mass murder that has happened since Obama was elected (right on cue!) and are yet to be correct...but it doesn't stop them; even though we consistently find out the shooters are left-leaning if anything.
It's no secret that Janet Napolean-tano has redefined the term "terrorist", now that Obama won't use it on anyone with a muslim background. Oh no, instead they place a target square on christians who vote GOP.
Do you find it interesting that ALL of the people this Administration has labeled "terrorist" or "extremist" are people who vote GOP? That ought to tell you something about the would-be dictators you support when you vote for these left-wing extremists that have usurped the once-proudly American Democrat Party.
Do muslims take offense at "mulsim extremists"? Actually they do.. they take great offense AT those who claim allegiance to the muslim community, which is otherwise peaceful.
That statement shows a lack of understanding of the problem. It's another thread, but basically the seeds of hatred are sown into the Koran and it only takes the right person to water them.
Unlike the Bible, the Koran does teach hatred and murder to expand the kingdom of Islam. The very word "islam" means submission!?!
Unlearned people are constantly taking the bible out of context to promote a godless agenda (including televangelists, christian cults, media, atheists, homosexual groups, satanists, etc) but you don't have to take the Quran out of context.
Have you ever read it? It's a jumbled collection of plagurized passages from various religious books mixed with the ravings of a man that married a 6 year old girl. It doesn't make sense in a literal way whatsoever, and yet islamic "fundamentalists" read it as a literal document.
A christian/jewish fundamentalist is someone who reads the bible as a literal document, and that is not unreasonable since it contains so much history and literal observation of factual events. But the biggest difference is that allah demands his subject to die for him, while YHVH sent His Son to die for us.
Do christians take offense at the use of "christian fundamentalists"?
ABSOLUTELY!!
It's almost always used:
1. Refering to people who aren't practicing a christian lifestyle as defined by Jesus (Do unto others as you would have them do unto you), and are therefore not even "christian". Like Westboro Baptist for example.
2. As a hammer to ridicule all christians
3. As propaganda to deflect attention from wickedness
4. To portray christians as violent unreasonable radicals; as if christians & jews who are fundamentalist in theological practice are comparable to muslims fundamentalists.
I could come up with more reasons if I spent a minute to think about it, but the term "fundamentalist christian" is used in an intellectually dishonest way 95% of the time.
How many times have you seen anyone labeled a fundamentalist liberal? No, it is meant to be derogatory in most usages.
