There's no more excuses. We all know that corruption is entrenched into both major parties to the point that both parties themselves are cancers on society. Operate and remove the cancers, or society will wither and die.
Hell, if you don't like the greens, then there's also the justice party (conservative ideals), the constitution party (libertarian ideals). ALL better than the current ones in charge.
Again.. you don't like it, vote against the corruption.
If at the next election (on any level), you vote democrat or republican, well then, at that point you will get what you deserve.
Sorry Kramer. What is your point? Are you finally waking up to all of this?
I've been pretty consistent on this message for at least the last 8 years of my life. I made a huge mistake in 2008 voting for a lying pile of excrement. That was the final lesson I needed to learn about 1 major party in the USA. That party is split into two camps that do nothing but pander to corporate amercian and the wealthy elite, and divert the collective attention of americans towards infighting and disagreement on hot-button issues. They cloud those issues to keep infighting alive. We all actually agree on far more than you might think, but they thrive on us being pitted against each other- and winning at all costs.
I sure as hell didn't make the same mistake in 2012.
If everyone would just vote for the person (not the party) that they thought was the best for the job, and also not based on their perceived ability to win, we wouldn't have any level of the problems we have today.
I'm doing my part. Why aren't you? People want to "win" so badly that they cannot see the ultimate long-term fail in their own choices. After 5 major POTUS elections in my adulthood, how can I be the only one who sees through the usual BS?
Arguments like "this is the most important election of our lifetimes, we cannot afford to let ____ take office, so you must vote for the other guy to defeat him...." are the most effective, and destructive arguments to freedom that you will ever hear.
Might as well be voting for Stalin to keep Hitler out of office, instead of voting for 3rd party Ghandi, right?
