Yes, they can and you swerved into the answer why they don't. They have to "set their minds to accomplish" and then follow up by doing the necessary work. I didn't say they could do it easily, or that it would come overnight.
Condaleeza Rice will never work it out as a stripper...
I'm sure someone finds her to be "hot"....so she could if that was what she wanted to do
My Definition of MUSE might be different that others'. My definition subscribes to the notion that a muse is really a divine and extraordinary gift, possessed by very few individuals, who are surrounded by mediocrity and plain ignorance.
When you first posted that I had to look up the definition of "muse" and apparently it goes back to greek mythology, where the 7 daughters of Zeus would whisper inspiration for the arts into someone's brain.
So it appears that the definition is really only "outside inspiration" for creating artistic efforts.
I believe that songs are floating in the air around us constantly. It's really only a matter of taking time to "hear" them and then concentration to see it through to completion.
The only difference between one person and the next is their desire to sustain concentration for as long as it takes.
Okaeeee...

I still disagree about kids. They unequivocally and absolutely cannot do 'anything they want". Again...The key concept here is that if they 'could' they would. If you don't believe me, then, grab any kid you see, who always loses at hide and seek... and persuade him /her to be the best detective on earth. Take any kid you see, who loves to dance and insist that they become the best CPA in the world. You cant, they cant ..its that simple.
To suggest and insist and to a child that he/she can 'do anything', in the absence of, or indifference toward their own comparative advantage is down right dishonest to that child. (Mind... its not the same as genuinely providing encouragement...if a child needs to flap some wing...)
Look around.,the world is full of some really fkd up kids, who are lost and confused about their own purpose and role in life. They cant decide which direction to take because they have been fed lines and lines of bullshit from parents, who cant even back up their own assertions.
To be fair... Einstein sucked at math and he hated his job a the patent office... But he went on to become the highest ranking physicist/ scientist known in the modern world. Nobody BUT Albert could have pulled that off... It distinguished him and set him apart from all others. How many more Einsteins do you see today in your community?
As for the def of Muse... That's indeed the Greeks. They described it in terms of myth, rather than leave it hanging... Mine is one better. Where they call it a whisper... I call it a 'divine gift'.
And BTW... since you are a man of God, you should have no problem understanding that with god, there are specific purposes for each of us, and that according to his will, our tasks come with the right tools and skills. I challenge you to take on the Office of the Presidency , starting now...and knock it out of the park
And.. no matter how badly a kid wants it, he ain't gonna cut it as a Jesus Christ. There is only one Christ. Having said that, kids cannot do or be 'anything' they want. In this life, The universe simply isn't set up that way.
