Kramer, I dont think you even realize the gravity of the Cartel Issue. I was over in Harrisburg a couple of years ago. PA used to have a very fuzzy political history, replete with Italian Mafia controls. That's no longer the case... Columbians and Mexicans have their fingers in everything.

Paperdog - as to Americans who were brought up not to be killers - not so sure about that. I read a statistic stating that the average american tv watcher kid sees 20k killings on Tv by age 18.

As to warrior vs artist. I don't see the dichotomy there. I'm both and well reconciled to it. Whatever the calamity is that will trigger the collapse, I hope we still have electric - I don't mind fighting but I do mind playing acoustic! Just say 'no' to EMP!

Maybe we'll build something better next time who knows...

PD: Well sure if people stopped using drugs the cartels would go away. That really doesn't say much though does it? We need real solutions. And very little of the drugs from Mexico go anywhere else but here; Canadians mostly grow their own (never heard of BC Bud?). More and more Americans grow their own or buy from other American growers, so the cartels are fighting over a shrinking customer base, thus the increasing violence.

I stated: stop "purchasing" That's not same as saying stop using. So Growing ones own makes better sense. (Personally Whatever floats somebody's boat, as long as I don't have to suffer or pay for 'their ' boat. ) The only real solution is literally to stop the cash flow , hence revenue stream. But like I said before, The fight is not over the drugs, ist over the corridors. (And cartels are evil enough to kill folks to gain leverage, regardless if their product is legalized or not)
