That, and the Pagans here wouldn't put up with them for one second should they try to move into PA.

Kramer, I dont think you even realize the gravity of the Cartel Issue. I was over in Harrisburg a couple of years ago. PA used to have a very fuzzy political history, replete with Italian Mafia controls. That's no longer the case... Columbians and Mexicans have their fingers in everything.
YOur town already has a chapter of MS13s. They are allied with the Zetas.
Yup. More than enough MS13s to go around here in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. Illegal infiltration from Mexico runs rampant here all due to the pandering of self serving demoncrat politicians like Iowa Gov Vilsack who brought them here by the buss loads. Now that bastard is corrupting this country even more from Washington. In typical fashion, the dross always floats to the top, just like crap in a toilet bowel.

Oh yeah. That's right. Washington DC is Americas toilet bowel.

These drug cartels are VERY SMART they don't want to draw attention to themselves so they can continue there illegal activities in this country! They bring as many over here as possible. They are NOT just into smuggling pot they are into every illicit activity there is in this country. They are turning it into the crap hole to the south known as Mehico! It is sad and breaks my heart that people refuse to do anything about it.
let us get them jobs at the local chicken processing plant so they can become upstanding card carrying Republicans paying into the tax kitty..

So sensitive for a tough guy.

Like I said "We have become so self absorbed if it doesn't directly effect US NOW we don't care" I rest my case! Grant their just going to blame those paranoid crazy Texans.

Its alright Jeff, They dont understand the reason why Texas has survived and will continue to survive.

Well, it sure wasn't because it was an independent country.
It joined the United States for a reason, didn't it?

If I recall, we were 'invited'.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848 ceded Texas (with the Rio Grande boundary), California, and New Mexico to the United States, which agreed to pay Mexico $15 million. The Mexican Cession gave the United States present-day west Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, most of Colorado, and part of Wyoming. The northern third of Mexico had become the southwestern quarter of the United States.

The Mexican War was a straightforward land-grab. The ease with which the United States won and the arrogance with which it behaved created a distrustful and sometimes violent southern border area for the country. More immediately, the lands ceded by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo became the object of contest and resentment between the slave and free states-a conflict that would widen into the American Civil War 13 years later.

Well, at least the Zetas don't shoot your dog.

What is coming down is a lot worst than a few cartel shooters - it's likely they'll be just as busy as the rest of us. There is a huge underclass I typically refer to as 'ferals' and they do not think the way we do. Americans have typically failed utterly to consider what potential or current enemies think and that mistake can be fatal.

Here is a very well thought scenario on how it could go bad pretty quick:
http://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.c ... -violence/

Paperdog - as to Americans who were brought up not to be killers - not so sure about that. I read a statistic stating that the average american tv watcher kid sees 20k killings on Tv by age 18.

As to warrior vs artist. I don't see the dichotomy there. I'm both and well reconciled to it. Whatever the calamity is that will trigger the collapse, I hope we still have electric - I don't mind fighting but I do mind playing acoustic! 8) Just say 'no' to EMP!

Maybe we'll build something better next time who knows...

This is all silly talk. FBI Teams, No Tresspassing Signs, Texans shooting back.
They dont care about any of those things and none will stop them. What I
said earlier was not crazy. They are military trained and psychopaths. They will
understand one thing. BULLETS!

Agressive military presence and highly trained interaction condoned and supported by both governments
will be necessary. This IS a WAR. Over decades the enemy has evolved into a
Drug Warrior. If you think the local police with their clumsy uniforms and bright cars
sirens and Glocks or the border patrol can deal with them, thats foolish. This needs
to be a military special forces action. Invading Mexico and cleansing the country
house by house as Pattons troops did in Europe.

Sounds pretty radical huh. Until this or similar action is taken. It will only
escalate and innocent Mexicans and Americans will continue to die. If Texas seperates.
They will go around or right through Texas and no amount of Texas rednecks will
stop them. They have learned how to kill, terrorize and control the Mexican government.
They have millions of dollars and coming to a neighborhood near you.[/b]

Mike, The Zetas will not only shoot your dog, but the will tape to the cat they shot, and will pin that to what is left of their victims torso. (I have seen it) .
I dont know that the Bracken's cube makes any sense at all. There are huge leaps of social assumptions in that mnecessarily agree with.

No Acoustic Guitars? That would turn me into a warrior with extreme prejudice ;)

I think you underestimate old school texans.
But we will see.

There are no official dangerous gangs in Boise.
... Due to the gang called Boise p.d. Shooting a shitload of people up in the 90s.
There's some affiliates in other towns, and small o.b.g. S here, but no la Emma or black gangs in the city

jimmydanger wrote:PD: Well sure if people stopped using drugs the cartels would go away. That really doesn't say much though does it? We need real solutions. And very little of the drugs from Mexico go anywhere else but here; Canadians mostly grow their own (never heard of BC Bud?). More and more Americans grow their own or buy from other American growers, so the cartels are fighting over a shrinking customer base, thus the increasing violence.

I stated: stop "purchasing" That's not same as saying stop using. So Growing ones own makes better sense. (Personally Whatever floats somebody's boat, as long as I don't have to suffer or pay for 'their ' boat. ) The only real solution is literally to stop the cash flow , hence revenue stream. But like I said before, The fight is not over the drugs, ist over the corridors. (And cartels are evil enough to kill folks to gain leverage, regardless if their product is legalized or not)

Thank God for gratuitous violence. It breaks up the the boredom of having to constantly watch pretend reality shows, dancing shows and talent shows on TV.

If had God wanted us to play acoustic guitars he wouldn't have given us electric guitars and amplifiers.
