LOL, all you gals want a bad boy every now and then. Its when things settle into the long term that gals want to change the guy to suit thier needs, all those things the guy did too woo you in the first place, dont seem so great anymore.

Women want a cowboy that will magically turn into a handy man.

i dunno...i think generalizing about ANY group of people is pretty goofy.

people in the NE are this way...people in CA are that way.

black people are....

white people are....

jews are....

chrisitans are....

seems like kinda lazy thinking to me.

then again i've been married to the same gal 34 yrs, so what do i know?... poor thing.

Ok Kramer I read that post and I thought it was cool that you're a nice guy.

And you Said you Tested the Girls by acting Rude to them, and then still some Females liked you still. that was interesting.

But nobody likes being tested, and so in your mind, is it okay that you tested with Females if they would like you if you weren't nice then it is not ok for a woman to test you?

Its good to feel yourself, there is women who love nice guys, i know cause I WOULD NEVER GET WITH A RUDE GUY and its more attractive to me for a man to be respectful to me. I am not rude to men.

I don't know why any woman would want a rude or cruel guy. But thanks for your honesty and your story. - it just makes me feel even more different than those irritating needy girls.

Thanks for the well-thought out and rational response. While I freely admitted experimenting with "testing", it was really a few very short months, maybe 3-4 if memory serves, and that was back when I was 18-19 years old, many moons ago. As I said, it wasn't ME, and I hated treating anyone like that.

I reserved to myself even back then that I was doomed because I'm a nice guy. And the revelation has proven disturbingly true (you would have to contact me privately to hear that part of the story).

I applaud your openness and honesty, and I don't disbelieve you for one moment that you believe yourself to be a nice girl. It's not a one-sided issue specific to men, although from my previous statements I can see how you could easily take me for being that biased.

I believe there are also 'nice girls' out there who always end up with jerks and suffer the same fates. I think they are far fewer in number and overall percentage of their gender, but that's opinion, and there's no way to back that up. I still feel that all women on at least some fractional level cannot ignore their genetic programming any more than men can, and that leads to some of the problems we have with communicating with each other as well as expectations on roles in the relationship.

Men are dogs, I get it. We are programmed to try and hump the youngest and most attractive doe in the field. We operate in a pack mentality and the alpha male always tags the most women. Women are programmed to be attracted to the alpha because he's clearly the most successful in the pack and would be best suited to care for and protect offspring. The alpha, easily translates to bad boy.

So what I'm saying is that women are always looking for the "upgrade" to a strong alpha if they feel they aren't with one, or a with a weak alpha. I believe some or even many women fail to even realize that on a conscious level. Many others who maybe feel that their current man is the best they can do, will try to change and mold the man into their idea of what he should be like, all the while oppressing who he really is and often pushing him into marriage either passive-aggressively or by using duplicity.

We will probably never, ever shake our genetic dispositions entirely as a race, and many of us have gained remarkable control over our emotions and programming.

Before any of you rake me over the coals, keep in mind, we're also all programmed to be jealous, and to get angry.. so angry at times that we are programmed to kill the source of that anger. It's called blind rage I believe.

My point about that is that is also yet another part of our programming..

In the mean time just put your wet panties in the wash.

Are you stupid or what? If you learned some better reading comprehension then you would have been able to read, they shoved me out of the way.

How is that? Now I understand your handicap. At your age and mental ability you should have no trouble getting a handicapped sticker. Just don't drool to much when you apply. YOU MIGHT SCARE PEOPLE!

Mark There is an entire field of study, replete with a full battery of scholars, in every Ivy league school down to the state run colleges that would entirely disagree with your assertion about generalizing. Albeit, we folks could prolly stand to exercise better , more intelligent discretion. However..... In addition, Our entire...lemme repeat that...ENTIRE marketing model in the US, EUROPE ASIA AND MIDDLE EAST operates solely on the findings of those scholars. Every shirt you bought, every instrument you identified with and purchased , every food item...was propped before you arrived on the scenen, cause they saw you (us) coming miles away , based on a presumption of your persona and charecter (and they don't even know who you are) Its not lazy thinking, as long as we dont forget tp look at an individual beyond the lumping. Two words: Nomathetic and idiosynchratic. WHen combined, a marketer can court you, appease you and then nail you with the bill its extraordinary how they pull that off... 8)
