Aint Yo Mama has a gig sat night.
Our bassist has a recording studio and recently got a setup for live recording, so we are going to try and record our show.
Not sure how it works but he will take our sound board out and use his laptop as a mixer and record the tracks live. Dont know what we will do with it, cause its just cover crap anyway, but should be a cool way to keep the moment.
Ooops guess I should have practiced more this week. I will have to show some restraint in my solos, cause live a lot of time I way overplay which is cool on video seeing how fast I can play, but in reality it sounds better when I lay back and let the solos breath, instead of going 90 mph.
Im trying a little different setup with my amps. Im using my Mesa Triple Rec into a 4x12 cab, and then slaving out of it into the power section of my Subway Rocket and running another 4x12. The two amps have different power tubes and when I hooked them up at the house it just sounds fuller to my ears. Ive redialed the Triple Rec, and I think Im just going to leave my Tube Screamer on the whole time and use my volume knob on the guitar to increase the breakup I need, between rythym and lead, the TS seems to take a little of the spikiness that I get out of my amp sometimes. Plus when you dime the volume on the guitar it just gets that creamy fluid lead sound I love.
