RhythmMan sorry that this is a bit of a duplication of your earlier thread about the alleged music found in DaVinci's painting "The Last Supper" but I couldn't find it so I posted this...

Anyway I played the music line as best I could read it, and posted the clip on my profile (it's marked "Hidden DaVinci Music?"). Personally, I don't hear anything in it. I think the author of that book sort of contrived something out of nothing there. Not only is it not really musically compelling, but notice most of the notes are the first staff "E" only because so many of the apostles' hands are simply resting on a common plane - the table.

Am I wrong? Does anyone hear something in this or read the notes differently that would make melodic/tonic sense?

I kind of liked it. I thought it was reminiscent of Dracul's version of "Here Comes The Bride". lol

You should farm that out with a bass line to Peter Steele, I bet he'd love it and all the mystery surrounding it as well.

I think the original post was filed under "Misc."
This one's easier to find.
. . .
So, you're saying it'll never make the 'top 40,' huh?
:)
How about the top 40 for his time-period?

My feelings exactly when I saw this story!

He's trying to profit off the DaVinci Code hype.

Yeah exactly. What's bewildering to me is that, for a musician, he (the book author) didn't even try to contrive something more musical from it. I mean, that passage won't pass any serious scrutiny. Weird.

what would be interesting is to find original music written from king David era, if you stare long enough at the last supper, guess what you see?

1. the first rock band
2. Jesus eating with his diciples
3. first buffet ever
