I am pro choice on this issue

The choice was made at conception. After that it is taking away the right of the baby to live.

I do make exceptions for rape, incest etc etc

But seriously. the choice to have sex is the one the woman has. After that it is borderline murder up to about 9 weeks then it is murder.

Sounds reasonable ... I stand here.

Choose to be responsible ... period.
Abortion is murder ... period.
Publicly collected funds for abortion, contraception, or any other type of health care issue that is an individuals responsibility is unconstitutional.
As far as the rape / incest issue. The Lord God says he may bring good from even the greatest of evils.
( I would support death penalty for aggravated rape convictions )

Why do pro-lifers (a newspeak euphemism if there ever was one) have such a short memory? Doesn't anybody think back to before Roe vs Wade? Doesn't anybody think about the botched back alley abortions and dead teenagers? Why does a "potential" person have more value than a real live talking one?

So Bob, where are you getting your information because I can't find any 2010 abortion statistics anywhere from the Guttmar or the CDC. I've googled to high heaven and most of the abortion statistics aren't yet posted for 2010. I mean, I've been in this debate many times and oftentimes I've seen where more Whites have had abortions than minorities, or are you simply just getting it from one source. So please share your information, I'm interested to see it.

As far as abortion goes, I wouldn't choose to have one, however, I believe it's a choice between the two people involved. I don't believe in using abortion for birth control, but I'm not against it being public funded in certain cases.

Stupidity and irresponsibility are not an excuse to make anything, let alone murder of innocence legal.

second, I do remember the horror stories. They pay for the consequences of thier actions. They die in an act of murder.

The desperate ones are generally victims of Incest, Rape and Molestation. That should be allowed up to 9 weeks. Then, regardless of the woman's/girls's wishes the person who victimized them should be charged with both the crime against her and the zygote.

Third, I was raised by women, with a father figure coming into my life after I was a teenager. I have yet to meet more than one woman who is pro-abortion. They generally agree with my interpretation of legal abortion.

Absolutes are usually bad, even in this case. But thanks to Roe vs Wade I have twin little brothers I will never know. You can guess the one woman in my life who agrees with unrestricted legal abortion.

You got it backward - men are the MOST pro-abortion, contraception too. They want the milk but don't want to buy the cow. Now they can screw like animals and imagine there to be no consequences.

My wife and I worked on a pregnancy crisis center early in our relationship. We put a roof on the thing (she is a much better carpenter than me) and I wrote their software.

Last time I checked there were 86 pictures on the wall - of babies - real live human beings, black ones by the way, who are still alive because of that place. Where would they be if they'd been aborted? Chucked in a dumpster? Yeah. In the old days. Now they sell the parts. Just follow the money and all this "caring about woman" crap is exposed for the lie it actually is.

Actually, there are still many babies who are chucked in the dumpster and so on, which is more angering to me than an abortion because this baby was born alive, with feelings and emotions, and discarded.

All hospitals have a safe surrender rule, but most of these are committed by teenagers who are frightened and afraid, and they're so young, many of them really can't comprehend the consequences of their actions.

I work and contribute to Project Cuddle, a charitiy that helps pregnant women get help such as medical, host families, and other resources, including finding an adoptive family for the baby after it's born. We've had celebrity sponsors like John Stamos, and Debbie Magnusen has been on Oprah, 20/20 to spread the word about her charity. She was responsible for getting the "safe surrender" law put into action.

I think you folks are not getting the big picture? If you are MATURE enough to have sex? then you should be mature enough to DEAL WITH THE consequences! GOD DAMN IT!
