That's Friedman's point, we have been meddling by keeping 2 bit dictators in power to the expense of the people of those countries.

While advocating democracy and freedom oil consuming countries sold out the freedom and civil rights of the population of oil producing countries for the sake of a steady flow of oil and Israel for the past 50 years.

Can you say $5 per gallon gas? Coz that's what is gonna happen very soon and as usual who is going to pay the for a mis guided and hypocritical policy in the Middle East are the working people.

The "American Dream Movement" is comprised of leftists, Laraza, the Islamic Society, the communist party, American unions and other socialist groups world strong. They are going to break America, not the other way around in my opinion.

They are pretending to have been formed in the last few months or so, as a peace loving group only concerned for the American worker. However, it is documented this world organization began in 08.
To my understanding, their intention to form a one world government through establishing "Democracy" and smashing capitalism throughout the world. Does World Wide Socialism come to mind?

I WAS able to experience a far greater freedom than we have had in these last decades. I still miss it. Every year more and more of it was taken by the thieves and liars that we elected to look out for our best interests.

I feel sorry for the younger generation who have been made complete idiots courtesy of the public school system. They are going to inherit a dismal world indeed. That is if these idiots don't completely destroy it.

Watch this group closely and you shall see for yourself what they are intending to do. Only time will tell.

Why does everthing have to be about the US. Don't you think that these middle east countries want something better and maybe ... just maybe it's about them and the living conditions they have to put up with ... I doubt very much that these rioters are even thinking about the US or Europe or any other place ... they just want a say in their future.

The "American Dream" is comprised of corporate interest and backed by some parts of the government, if not all. Their goal is to make the rich richer and to hell with the rest of the country.... they are the ones that will bring down the US

The "American Dream Movement" is to counter this .... people are feed up with the Tea Party's agenda that panders to corp interest and money ... maybe the ADM people should have gone out and voted in the last election and this could have been avoided.

I find it funny how many people in the US have bought into the corp propaganda of the "American Dream" which undermines the worker standard of living, health care, unions (livable wage), real freedoms (besides being able to carry a gun), the ability to own a home (bank fraud) ... the list goes on and on ... the corp have sure done a good job of brain washing the US citizens

Like anything in life ... there has to be balance .. between what the people get and what the corp's get ... call it what you want ... ying and yang ... or what ever. The corp's need a level playing field and nothing more ... no tax brakes or government subsidies over the level playing field. Worker have to make enough money (a living wage) to live at a decent standard of living ... right now I see the US worker in a race to the bottom .. the corps are making obscene profits and the worker is just surviving.
