This reminds me how "liberals" have changed since i was a child. I beleive how they once taught. Though conservative, I beleive in your right to feel and say what you beleive, even if it is contrary to my beleifs.
I would fight to the death for your right to beleive and say things that I may not agree with.

I will also fight for my own right to say and beleive what others disagree with. The first amendment was not put in place to protect polite speech. It was put in place to protect the right to say that which may offend.

So, disagree with me and we can have a debate.

Attempt to forcefully shut down opinion and thought that is contrary to your beleifs and I move down the amendments to the next one. I beleive in the second amentment just as passionately.

No where in the constitution does it say you have a right to live your life without being offended. Rather than try to shut down or regulate that which you disagree with, vote with your remote control. Change the channel. If ratings drop, so does advertising revenue. That is why I refuse to wach news sources that worship BHO.

I hear a LOT more honesty on Fox News than MSNBC, Liberal Headquarters, USA.

I interact with many people from all over the world and by European standards Obama is very conservative... also in the world where they actually KNOW WHAT SOCIALISM IS they do not consider him a socialist. He has no socialist credentials, has presented no socialist plans for this nation and is only a "Socialist" in the very broadest of terms. He's CALLED a SOCIALIST by his detractors trying to make him out to be something Red and Evil.

This reminds me of how the TSA recently raided a California commercial airline pilot's home and confiscated his gun and concealed carry permit because he revealed inconsistancies in security policy at the San Francisco airport.

I am SO happy this administration has nothing going on that appears totailtarian.

Should I blame him because a local Barney Fife decided to come out to my place and confiscate my shotgun and haul me off to jail because someone supposedly heard Gunshots in my rural neighborhood?

His line of reasoning at the time was " I had a gun and matched the description". Later the actual report comes thru and it turns out no one "heard shots" but rather saw me with a gun in my OWN YARD.

Cop had to change his story, now I am accused of "pointing it at him in the dark", a "menacing with a firearm" charge that carries up to a year and a day in jail.

So far has cost me $3000 in Lawyer fees and another $1000 to "plead guilty" on stipulation of appeal. We are still waiting to get it to district court and retry it.

But hey, I get to thank BushCo for providing that officer with a nice new AR-15 assault rifle and kevlar so he can come to my home and arrest/ assault me. Literally, Bastard got a AR-15 to help "fight drugs" from Federal funds in 2007.

So maybe you need to thank the folks who made TSA, not Obama for your story about a pilot and his gun.

All of us are educated, to a degree. Some more than others, & some only by what they see on TV. I have watched Fox on occasion, & found it to be informative only for opinions that I do not share. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, & the rest aren't that much better, really, but they ARE better, imho. I quite like BBC, though I don't watch it often.

The bulk of the news that I get that I find truly informative & substantial, scares the hell out of me...but I have to look...it's like a horrible accident on the freeway...I'm a rubbernecker...
