I love to listen the second and third time. This is where you say yes or no.
Chaeya mixing and mastering are two completely different steps. I really think the tracks are happening, you have to bring your vocals more in the mix, you may have to back off some of the other traxs. You got a wild voice girl and I love it. don't bury it. I could add much more, but before you commit to a mix post it. I know I could make these tracks blow the roof off tunes.
Rockin Lady, FLUBBERS to ya.

There you go again,,, you got a great band together and you are still looking for a group hug. :)

You were right also, don't hide your music in an old post.

The problem is I didn't want to lose the BOOB thread because it has helped make my wife a very happy mamma this week.

Oh my, thanks so much! You really don't know how much hard work we put into writing, recording it and yes, we're still mixing and Glen, thank you, I do wish you and your ears were here. We're working with Sonar 8 the Producer's Series, but because of money issues, we don't have all the big bells and whistles with an Avalon and so on. That means, we have to work that much harder on creating a decent mix.

My husband generally lays down the music, then he gives it to me and I write lyrics to it and work out the vocal arrangement. One thing I do love about my husband is he is as big of a perfectionist as I am. He plans out each solo he does in his songs and he writes them almost like their a mini song within a song.

We really appreciate your comments are very important to us. Our drummer is coming on Friday to lay down the next two tracks. "Unconditional" and "The Red Rider." These are two songs from my old CD that I wanted to redo.

Talk about bad luck, our song "Demons of the Mind" was picked up to appear on the TNT series "Witchblade" back in 2003, but the show was canceled before we could draw up any agreements. Boooo!

Don't tell me that Chaeya. Alright lets figure out some way to get those trax to me and I will give something that will make you say.... Did I do that?
That is if you are not happy with the mix.

I was going to do online collaboration with other people but I just didn't feel the effort coming back. This is worth the effort.

You think about about it because some of the guys up here monster ears, and you haven't even met RAT yet! Records his music on a little cassette deck and puts us to shame. He's been too busy on FB collecting 9 trillion friends .

Gzip , Zip it . You got a few heavy guit tracks up and obviously your ignorance of mixing any music with VOCAL traxs is just shining through.

When you can sing as good as that ,,,, post it, But don't come out out and be some sniveling little asshole.

By the way I was doing simple guitar traxs like that 40 years ago and I could put up stuff like that in 2 minutes. You are going out of your way to FU-CK around man. Jealous. No ..... LITTLE.

If you didn't post it , then who the hell did?
It was mean, cruel, and nasty and it had your old avatar.
Crazy ,,,I don't think so.
Something happened here and it wasn't pretty.
If you say you didn't put up that post then I will go by your word and apologize for coming down on you so hard.
I saw it, and I was shocked by it. Then it just disappeared.
I don't see it in any of your other posts , They are all still there.
Something is really floked here,, keep your eyes open.

Oh my. I don't want to start a fight here. I don't expect everyone to like my music. I mean, that's what makes us all diverse and different, yes? We work hard on our art and you'll just get some people who thinks it's not that good, oh well, I know I worked hard on it, but if they don't like it, there's nothing I can do about that. They have their idea of art and I have mine. It would be a boring world if everybody all liked the same stuff.

I grew up with my mom telling me I couldn't sing a lick and why did I try. No, I'm not Patti LaBelle, I'm not Ann Wilson, I'm not Pat Benatar. When I went to Europe I got smacked down by every record company I went to because they wanted me to sing soul and R&B, why didn't I sound like other black people? They hated my voice and I sat through numerous meetings of being told I can't sing, I'm going to lose my voice, I try too hard to sing, etc. etc. Everyone had an opinion of how I should be singing. I've developed a pretty thick skin over the years. I just know when I open my mouth and the sound comes out, I love what I do, I feel like I'm in touch with a piece of my soul. When I write stories that become songs, I've said something I needed to say. No, I don't have million dollar producers who can work their magic on the track, I don't have a "formula" that has sold millions of records, I'm not a poet like Bob Dylan. It doesn't matter in a business where I was told all the hoops I had to go through to get some success while I watch a prettier girl who could barely hold a tune given an advance, the right producers and tracks written by other people because she just so happened to have the right boyfriend. Welcome to the music business.

In the end, it's about where you take your music. You can write like Paul Simon and get mad respect, but you got Lady Gaga making more money than anyone musically right now. People call her ugly, she can't sing, her songs suck, she has no talent, but somebody is buying her music because I looked at her balance sheet which was posted in the LA Times a month ago and she's making bank. So to be a talentless twirp, she's selling records.

I don't think I'm better or worse than anyone, I'm way over the competitive edge of music. We all have our personal hells we go through to do what it is we do. I simply want to carve out a little niche for myself, get my tunes placed on a few tv shows and/or movies, perform, and win a few fans and friends. So a negative review isn't going to stop me. I'm more interested in gauging what people like the best about my sound and where to take it from there.

Okay, can we all have another group hug and flubbers? I don't have a premier membership so I can't e-mail you all personally.

Chaeya, this has nothing to do with you. I saw this once before when Philby changed his avatar. I didn't mention it at the time because I thought it was a joke. I know Philby and though he may get tough, when I saw the post I was like HUUUUH. Then it DISAPPEARED.
Someone is playing games putting crap up just long enough read and start a mess.
Any one else seen this? Thats Twice for me. Do we have a new trouble making troll? Is that you STRINGDANCER :?:
