Sunday, June 20, 2010 - Jeff Beck at The Fillmore Detroit. Jeff was in great form, doing most of the tracks off from his new album. The oldest song he played was "Led Boots" from "Wired". His version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was beautiful. He also did versions "A Day In The Life", "Rolling and Tumbling", "I Wanna Take You Higher", "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "People Get Ready" that brought the house down. After playing a bunch of white Strats the roadie brought out a black Les Paul and you could her a gasp from the mostly musician audience. He proceeded to play a Les Paul song in honor of the inventor of the modern electric guitar. He did three songs for an encore, with "Nessun Dorma" from Puccini's opera "La Traviota" the final song. Amazing show as always by God's Guitarist.
