To be honest, Craig, your very extremist views about this person put me off to the point that I don't bother to read those lengthy articles & your windy additions. What I get out of them is mostly fluff journalism, at best, but I'll admit that I don't read them all the way through. That one about meeting Sarah Palin was definitely in that vein, as I recall. I don't think it's really all that relevant, & won't bother to "answer" that particular "challenge."

Perhaps she's quite a fine person. I dunno, & I really don't care. I don't like her public personna. They voted FOR the guy who promised health care reform, & though the right made it difficult to achieve, achieve it Obama did. That, to me, makes him the hero in this lil scenario. He did what he promised us he would do. He did his job, & got it done in spite of the Palins, the Limbaughs, the Becks, Fox, the Rep minority, et al. Kudos to Barrack.

Quit your crying & get over the fact that you were outvoted by ppl who saw a need & wanted it filled. You may have convinced a large portion of them that it wasn't really what they wanted, but it remains that this is exactly what they voted FOR. THAT was Obama's "mandate from the ppl," to use one of GWB's favorite phrases.

And do try to remember that, even though ppl say they don't want or like this plan, as a whole, thanks to the rhetoric of the far right, 60% of them, Craig, about 2/3 of these nervous types, agreed that nearly each & every line of text in the bill was something they would agree to, indeed, that they would want, in at least one poll, since you're so fond of facts & statistics. I saw the news reports on that, as I'm sure you did, so go look it up & pick it apart. I won't. I can accept it, cuz it's the same reports that Palin has gotten & accepted.

Yet Palin is still on the attack, even though the public is finally going to get what they want! Gee! She really IS a fine American politician, isn't she? Just the person I want in office! I said quite plainly that there were LEGITIMATE reasons to not like Sarah Palin, and that what I took issue with, is intellectually dishonesty and unwarranted personal attacks, merely because someone doesn't like her.

Sarah Palin in the reason the post exists in the first place. So, it is reasonable to speak about her, and what has been said in other posts. And it is YOUR FEELINGS, and not mine, which is coloring REALITY here. Some of you take offense at Fox for engaging in STANDARD MEDIA PRACTICES... why? Because Sarah Palin is involved! Not because of the practice itself, of using old interviews for new projects.
