Mines bloody awful :D I have a huge School desk which I've adapted to carry a normal pull our keyboard tray. Looks very neat, loads of space. Underneath is garbage and more stuff is being added! :D

Obviously and for safety and acoustic reasons I cannot coil thicker cords since they generate magnetic fields and sometimes heat up too.

How do you get around this? Got any pictures please?
Many thanks.

The simplest solution is to simply order or make your cable's to length. I make all my XLR and !/4" cables. Digital (Toslink) or RCA's I simply measure what I need and order the right length. Their are several places on the internet with the "If you can think the cable, we can make the cable" solutions.
When it comes to cables and how to route them, common sense prevails.

lol: Try to avoid cable ties as much as you can. Spiral cable wrap or cable tubing is the better way to go. Always remember that some day new gear will show up on your table and you will have to unplug everything and start over again.

Ok I've been looking around.
What about plugs? Back home we could get nice mains plugs that you could fit onto gear but these days everything is moulded.

What are my options on shortening or even lengthening wires so I can bundle this lot up in the future please? The only thing I've come across so far are stupid Lowes/HD attachments for work tools.

Cheers.
