Yep.
Pretty good.

Sounds a bit out of tune when he goes to the E5 chord at the end.

A bit of chromatics, a little bit o' diminished scale.
Basically hes weaving some jazz licks into his blues playing.

Yep. That's some pretty good pickin'. There was definitely some chromatic stuff in there, but he blended it well with that odd scale he was playing.

You say that's a diminished scale, Zip? I'll hafta take your word on that one.

Philby, he playing in a chromatic manner, right? As in he's out of tune, no?

You've been posting and commenting on more blues related posts lately. Are you developing your blues glands? If so that's a good thing. It will only help your playing.

Bob, you 1 maybe 2 of my tunes, MAYBE.

Yeah, I got blues gills and I breathe water at the bottom of the sea as well.

I been to the octopus' garden, visited the walrus, spoke to Neptune and fully anticipate the day that I cross over into the sea, not to die but to be reborn away from lands so tattered and torn. ..

lol

Sounded like it.
Or diminished chord shapes, played as arpeggios.
(And no arpeggio doesnt automatically mean that sweep picking stuff)
