Had to post this brother!

My step-son is 13 and trust me... an EXPERT on Reggae!

No joke!

He probably knows more Reggae bands and albums than just about anyone on here!

And so... I was telling him about Haleamano and that a friend of mine was their guitarist, and I asked him if he wanted to hear their music or hopefully find a video!

And we watched a couple, including the one linked above.

He liked you guys alot, and compared you guys to Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs, which is good praise bro!

You have a new fan! :-)

Much soul, yes I liked that a lot. Reggae seems to cross genre' well. Such a mix of influence yet stands alone. Sad the audio quality was so poor, seems to be so well played.
One negative observation though, and I see a lot of this. When Your band-mate is on the mic have, the courtesy not to be plunking on your guitar or drums. Damned unprofessional behavior IMO.
I check my tuning between songs but it's totally silent. No distraction from the man on the mic.

Thanks Craig

Thanks Shredd6, well struck brother!

My pleasure.

I was happy to recognize Ted in the video, cause Haleamano has alot of media out there... Pre-Ted... LOL

And imagine my surprise, when I saw that it was one HE WAS SINGING LEAD ON!!!

They've got a pretty badass band going on there! And those big boys, especially the lead singer, MOVES around on stage like nobody's business!

Good showman. He gets into the music, and it makes you get into it too.

Very nice to see a band willing to share the spotlight with all it's members too! That's the way it should be!

Oh trust me, I've seen it.. The band asked to have this taken down from youtube. But Vinny from WARPT refused. Hahaha. He loves the song. The reason we asked to have it taken down is I had no vocal monitor ( I only sing one song in this set). So in a sense it was like singing along with a song with headphones on, and not being able to hear your voice. Anyone ever try that? So the band as a whole didn't think this was a true representation of how I sing this song. There are obvious bad spots where I miss the key.

I will say this though. After watching it I really made it a point to learn how to sing it whether I can hear myself or not. If we're being honest here, I would expect people on here to critique this video as a mediocre vocal performance. But still not as bad as Meatloaf. Hahaha.

I believe we're going to record our gig with Tribal Seeds. I'd rather a newer vid pop up from this show coming up. I'll be singing 2 songs.

In fact.. I start the set this time!! That's right.. Howlie-Boy kicks it off!!

Thanks for all of the kind words. Our fans really do like this song a lot. People are starting to buy me beers for this song!! Hahaha. That's when you know you've written a good one!! Funny thing is, I usually get this. "I love your Jamaica song!!"... But I never say the word Jamaica anywhere in the song.

Yeah, but I know you can sing. I've heard you on several other songs you have posted and sometimes taken back down.

Figured it was an off-night, or nerves because it was a new venue.

The monitor explains alot.

It's happened to me, but I still do pretty well... somehow I have learned to tell whether I am in key, by the vibration in my throat and body, even when I can't hear myself at all. But it makes me give a subpar performance, because I can't be free in that situation. I kind of stand there more still, so I can focus on FEELING the vibrations.

And I'll tell my step-son what you said!

He asked to listen to you guys again yesterday, and WANTS TO BUY A CD, WITH HIS OWN MONEY!!!

The little buggar gets my stuff for FREE!

I love Reggae and Las Vegas is the best city I have ever been to. I want to live there.

I was just at the Chickenfoot concert at the Hard Rock, the joint sounded great.
