When you are too damn BUSY, you step all over everyone's toes because although you may be talented, you get a failing grade for "PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS".
Again, you are judging the demo as if it were a finished product. Each track on the demo averages 2-3mins, in my mind they are much longer and you are only hearing the parts where I come in. They are just small pieces of a larger puzzle which I cannot complete without other musicians.

It's cool Bane0079

Sometimes we mis communicate.
Sometimes we just get carried away.
Most often everyone means well and wants to be helpful in their own way despite some cross genre' tensions.
And then there is the occasional testosterone (and sometimes estrogen) driven shyt storms.
Then we just have to ignore each other for a week or two.
You seem to me to have your head on and focused for a goal.
As I've said before.
I really appreciate the fact you came on board with your guns cocked.
Look forward to hearing some completed works from you man.

Bane, as I see it: debating the finer points of attacking a solo. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's all good. Your points are well made. It always comes down to taste which is why there is no universal magic formula.

Perhaps I will upload some *real* work soon and let you critique me :) So far my crap is just our bands songwriting demos, all focused on arrangements.. sigh, always work to be done.. and never enough time.

Aha!
Another chance to drop this on y'all.

Here's me playing with the old lead vocalist of Dream theater:

He asked me to join his new project but I turned him down as I'm coming out with an awesome new band that's getting ready to gig all over NY, NJ Staten Island and Conn.!

Sounds cool, what's the band name? I'll look into it.

It's called: MUGSY... featuring former members of: Stevie Vai, Swift Kick, Joshua Tree, Pride, Spellbound and PanikAtack.... Our debut will be @ Lulu's in Port Jefferson, NY... March 6th.... We have a ton of peeps coming down including members of: Stryper, 3 Dog Night, Eddie Trunk(VH1 & WRCN), etc... Turns out the other guys in the band have plenty of friends in "high" places..... I'm just the lowly guitarist.... This project just fell into my lap when these guys came down to check me out in one of my other bands a while ago and asked me to join their project. Without hesitation, I accepted!
