I fully support your right to be wrong.

My apology if you truly feel that I am cramming Jesus down your throat.
That is not my intent.
I only wish to share the good news I have found in my life with my fellow men.
Feel free to ignore me.

Yes, as I support your right to be wrong as well. In fact, I would give my life to defend your rights, as I know you would as well.

I have nothing against someone coming on here and declaring what their belief has done for them. But when you start saying that I should believe as well, that crosses the line.

Just for the record, Webster's definition of impose:

enforce: compel to behave in a certain way; "Social relations impose courtesy"
inflict: impose something unpleasant; "The principal imposed his rage on the students"
levy: impose and collect; "The state imposed a fine"

Agreed Jimmy.

To force someone to do or believe anything is to only encourage contempt of that thing or belief. ( like paying taxes as a "charity" )
My parents made me go to Church with them most every Sunday. To this day I have some difficulty with "organized" services. Yet a spontaneous celebration and sharing (like the rainy day we played in the park) really lifts my spirits.
I encourage my children to attend services. And to this day they often will do so without me.
Sometimes the role reverses. Come on Dad you need to go to Church too!
Funny that.

Right George. I would get a lot more from someone's message if they describe what their belief has done for them, rather than "this is what I believe and you should believe it too". Either way I wasn't really objecting to anything you said George, I find you are usually tolerant and respectful.
