Report: LPGA golfer says she already knew about Tiger Woods' women
By Alan Schmadtke, Orlando Sentinel

When the string of women came forth to say they had had affairs with Tiger Woods, at least one other professional golfer was not surprised.

LPGA player Helen Alfredsson told a Swedish television network that Woods' infidelities, which he has acknowledged on his Web site, had already surfaced in the golfing community.

"I heard it last summer during the British Open," Alfredsson told TV4. "In the quietest water swims the ugliest fish."

RadarOnline.com first reported the English translation of Alfredsson's comments.

Said Alfredsson of Woods: "Something odd about him. If he just paid for the escorts, I understood it a bit more. Then no one needed to know. But now he did everything and had a girlfriend and everything. What I do not understand is why he got married."

And: "When he says to the girl that he can not see her because he has family matters, when Elin will give birth, is he not a bit cold?" she asked in amazement.

Meanwhile paparazzi continue to keep camp in Windermere, outside the gates of the exclusive Isleworth community where Woods owns two homes.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office denied that Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, was given a hefty security escort — or any security escort — out of Isleworth this week.

And that golfer sums it up for me as well.

It is the callousness of how he went about it. Cold. Unconcerned, to the point of saying he couldn't see one girlfriend because he had "family matters" going on. The family matters, was his wife giving birth to their child.

This is just not the nice-guy we thought he was.

That's all.

You mean, not the nice guy YOU thought he was Craig.

The rest of us weren't so stupid or arrogant to think we actually knew Tiger Woods, the private citizen...

But you, after all, have a supernatural "gift" for being able to know people just by looking at them? Right?

LOL....

Idiot.

I, on the other hand, did not know Tiger. He kept his private life very private, and I was not a personal friend. I knew Tiger the same way most people knew him - as the golfer on TV, and that is all.

If you are surprised at all by Tiger's private behavior then you're a moron for thinking you know someone when you really don't know jack about them.

That's the problem with you religious types: you're always in such a quick hurry to judge other people that you'll go so far as to concoct B.S. stories about "powers" and "abilities" just to justify your arrogant, judgmental behavior.

Do everyone a favor Craig and shut up already. Stick to people you have first-hand knowledge of and quit trying to play God.

It's just a forum for DISCUSSING things for god's sake.

I think taking you down a notch or two, so that you come to realize the sound of your own stupidity and arrogance, is necessary. Yes.

To keep the FORUM a place for discussion, and not idiocy. We've already got enough stupid people in this world Craig. Don't become one of them.

And so we're clear: There are two kinds of personal attacks. The first kind is the one you assault your enemy with, because you dislike them. The second one is when you slap your friend over the head because he's being an ass. You do it because he IS your friend, and you want him, above all people, to stop being a dumbass.

I'll leave you to figure out which attack I'm trying to perform here...

I don't think he owes me or anyone else an apology with the exception of his soon to be exwife and children especially his kids. Some of the posts I have read on here make me wonder about the human race. Philby you said you have done it before and you might do it again. I would have to say the guilt must be eating you alive you knew it was wrong and yet you admit you might do it again this is exactly the problem I have with the liberal point of view if it feels good do it right? After all it is your right to do it right? Colors I am getting some vibes from your reply that you really resent religion and I can respect that, it is your choice after all. I have to ask myself in my personal pursuit of the TRUTH. WHAT IS GOD and I have come to understand that without him we would be no more civilized than a bunch of heathens or monkeys swinging from the trees.

I don't know about you guys but as a member of the human race I am just trying to reach the highest ground and by that I mean. No human being is better than another FLOOKIN PERIOD. All I want out of life is to LOVE AND BE LOVED. People make mistakes when they are young I did but damn it you should learn from them. I did not make that kind of mistake but just the same you should learn from it. My fellow bandmixers I think you guys and girls are badass. You guys impress me and make me HUMBLE everyday and to requote something someone once said on here, it may seem like I am not here but I am here. I have been particularly impressed by Craig Maxum and some of you other people are way smarter than me and I would like to take this moment to wish you all A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Kind of performing a public service then? I see. Although someone else had pretty much assumed that role (keeping my ego in check) quite awhile back now.

But in all seriousness, I don't think there is anything idiotic or arrogant about the power of observation, and the simple fact that one can tell alot about someone, sometimes, just through a picture. There are myriad clues trapped even in a single photo of someone. Facial expressions, worry lines or wrinkles and where on the face they are. Hair style. Clothing choices. Body position, and on and on. It is no more bizarre to learn how to observe clues through a photo, than it is for FBI profilers to make statements like... "The perp would be around 30 to 35 years old... a white male, with few friends, probably living alone and has been at the same job for many years. He likely lives less than 5 miles from the murder victims..." - Etc..

The FBI profiler's clues were mostly AFTER the fact, and yet a clear picture can be ascertained of the perp, telling the profiler's many things that most people wouldn't pick up on. Maybe the perp, for example, re-posed the body after death... covered the victim's face, or didn't... mutilated the body after death, etc... Each little thing tells the investigator more and more about the perp. to the point that a few key clues, may give investigators the race, age, social habits, kind of job, sometimes even an accurate approximation of how many miles from the crime scene the perp would be living.

All that, deduced from clues, most people would have overlooked.

Thanks JH, and a Merry Christmas to you too brother!

btw...

I think I saw in the paper that more people are moving to Texas during these tough economic times, than anywhere else in the nation. Something like that anyway. Point was, that Texas' population is expanding, and maybe more-so than any other states.

I guess people don't understand the value of true friends. Modern thinking....
I have married to my girl and friend for over 25 years. My biggest concerns are her total welfare, including continued personal growth.
The values that woods shows to his wife are way beyond what I could imagine.
On the same page these seem to be the same values That our congress follow.
Good to hear from you Craig,,,Being politically incorrect.... MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Sometimes pointing one finger at another and saying "man what an idiot" "boy did he F/U" is not hypocritical.
But more a way of realizing how easy it would be for us to repeat his mistakes. Thereby allowing us to pursue a different path.
I can point out Tigers moral weakness because I have been there.
And have no intent of going back down that road, God help me!
I am not his judge, but I know whom is his and mine.

Yes Craig the population in Texas, especially here in H-town is really growing. I believe it is do to the diversafication of the economy back in the early 80's after the oilbust. In those days Houston was heavily dependant on the oil industry. Those were some hard times. Back then we had a Mayor that had a great buisiness mind and she really promoted diversafying the economy. We still have the oil buisiness but we also have Nasa the space industry and the medical center, a lot of manufacturing and now the state is pushing for more tier 1 research university's so that involves more jobs in the education field. So hopefully (fingers crossed) the economic downturn will not be so bad here. My worry is that during the last recession in the early 80's it hit here last. There is a saying around the country that Texas is behind the times. There was some truth to that I think but that was in the past. I like to think Texas can be a leader and lead the nation to some degree hopefully out of this bad economy. There are still signs up of company's hiring here. There is definately room here for expansion LOL!

Once again, your examples are wide of thier chosen target, Craig. His actions had no repercussions like, say, sticking your finger in a socket. Without the bad results, why would he have chosen to change until it got to the point that he "had to?"

I don't care if he went with one woman or a score of them. The numbers seem to really bother you. Are you feeling a bit envious, maybe?

Perhaps it does indeed show a bit of narcicism. Okay, I'll accept that he possibly has that particular personality disorder, that illness. Still, it makes him no less of a person than one who chooses to judge the actions of others constantly, or one who simply conveniently forgets those things that he's supposed to do, by the standards of our society.

For all you know, his problem may be more of a physical one, where his brain is damaged in some sort of way. Whatever the case may be, you don't have all the facts, & you never will.

As far as my own tendencies to wander, I make no apologies to anyone here. Nor do I offer the complete picture of my life's situations. Therefore, to judge me is to possibly (or likely) place yourself in the position of being wrong about your assessments of me.

I will continue to say that this is a character issue only in your mind, since there are other points of view out here in the real.

Monogamy may be very beneficial to some. It obviously does NOT work for all. Finding that perfect person simply is not possible for everyone. To force ppl to accept monogamy to procreate is yet another attempt by the j/c religion to control ppl. Nothing more. Nothing less. What a ridiculous thing to say to someone - if you're gonna have sex, & still make it into heaven, you must do it in a monogamous relationship. Oh, yes, & while we're at it - in spite our god's historical lenience towards having more than one spouse, we're making that illegal, now, too!

STUFF IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!

Physical & emotional needs still exist, however, that do seem to drive us to pair up with one or more of the opposite (or even same) sex. I don't even consider it particularly selfish to do so. Physical love is healthy on many many levels.

There is evidence out there that homosexual traits may well be hardwired, as well, in some ppl, yet the j/c religion finds it abhorrent, & this attitude has spilled over into our system of law, though that is NOT supposed to happen in this country.

I think it's frikken funny how uptight we Americans are when it comes to the topic of sex, or decadence, or just about anything else, really.

Consider how we think about how "cleanliness is next to godliness," while we find decadent behavior to be awful, yet we hide ourselves away to clean our bodies while we consume everything in sight out in public. Physical love is to be kept hidden to the point that it's a complete mystery to so many ppl, to the detriment of thier physical, mental & inter-relational health & well-being.

Nearly every single physical pleasure aside from eating is looked down upon in our culture, & fat ppl are laughed at cuz they've overdone it, even when they may have other physical problems at work to cause that weight problem. We think of ppl who relax as "lazy."

We find aestheticism to be something worthy of note, yet all of the pleasures of this physical world are gifts from our gods, so why should we deny them to ourselves? Sex, drink, drugs, a simple lied-about "sick day" - these are sins in our culture. We are told to put off our pleasures until the next life, after we've "earned" them in this one. We are supposed to feel guilty about every pleasure we get in this life, & to deny them to ourselves at every opportunity, cuz that is the "good way" to live. BULLSPIT!!!!

It's no wonder that it all confuses some ppl.

God gave me a penis to enjoy, & I intend to enjoy it. To do anything else is to squander that gift, to spit in the eye of god, or to tell him that you know better than he what you need in this life to make it a complete one.

The more you label life's simple pleasures as "evil," the more mysterious they become, the more obsessed some ppl will become over them. Often, the strictest parents will have the most disobedient & out-of-control children. But that is the j/c way, isn't it? If it feels good, it MUST be a sin!

Personally, I remember this rule of thumb - it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission, cuz the ill feelings are there either way, but with forgiveness, at least you get the pleasure, too. (LOL - okay, I'll admit that might be taking it a bit far, but you get the gist of it!)

The more I learn about the human condition, the more it seems to me that the j/c religion & its strict rules to live by are random crap designed to control me, the individual, to keep me from enjoying those things that god would have me experience & enjoy in this life. I am by no means a hedonist, but I will not let other ppl's views keep me from having & benefitting from the boons that god gave me, for some random bit of morality that does not apply to me & is designed to simply stop me from experiencing the best that life has to offer.

If you wanna live in a cave & pray for the rest of your days, by all means do so, but don't expect me to join you there.

Random crap to control?
No if the almighty wanted to control you would be controlled.
He gave you choice as a part of your creation in his image.
He also gave us internal as well as written " morals" . As a guide for health and happy population of the earth. We choose what to follow or not.
God gave me a trigger finger as well as a penis, funny how progressives will that I f**k whom I want but not allow me to kill.

Silly silly progressives LOL
