Hi There,does anyone know if you can d-tune a Ibanez 540s to Eb ive tried but it keeps going out of tune only stay's in tune in standard E tuning I want to play some guns and roses ?

Does it have a floating Trem? (whammy bar)
Sometimes it takes a while to retrain the springs if it was set up for standard tuning. (spring tension and all that jazz)
Tune it to Eb then shake the sh*t out the whammy. Then retune it to Eb.
Repeat till it stays there.
Shouldnt just 'go out of tune' if you drop it down once its adjusted.
