The "pop" music was lame assed crap 10, 20, even 30 years ago.
You want good music? Seek and ye shall find, decade irrelevant.

Exactly...Underground music ftw.

Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's good...Some of the best music, you will never hear it on the radio.

I can think of a lot of good things from this decade. Just the popular music overshadowed them. I can think of some good rap, some good R & B. Evanessence was great in their own dark way.I like Linkin' Park, diggable Planets, India Arie, Ericah Badu,. I am going to get blasted off this thread but there was a song or two that I liked by N'Synch. I also like Jamiriqui, Blackeyed Peas. There is another R&B singer whose name is not coming to me...having a senior moment. A lot of cool jazz recordings also came out this decade. 8)

Y'all aint gonna like this but just listen to it this once. It is hilarious and it has a really cool groove. Only thing missing is the flute.

Yeah l already listen to chickenfoot (joe satriani ftw), and i bought the great misdirect yesterday. I did find some of the more complex guitarist cds to be good, satriani, vai, yngvei(or however you spell it, and my favorite guitarist of all time buckethead.I also kinda like system of a down. And all of tools stuff is great.

Yeah, I just love this...I could listen to nothing but this song on a road trip.
I also love how the audience responds to the song.

Well....... I guess................she did get a good audience responce.... but so do strippers.
I have to wonder what kind of relationship this is reflecting.
Is this how we'd want our daughters to enteract in interpersonal relationships?
You know me...... I'm all about the message these days.
What are we teaching our children?
And what are they learning just by observation of how we live?
Perhaps I've been overly critical?
One of my moods this morning I suppose.
