how would you describe the first gig? Fun or HELL!

I think I was 13 and in 8th grade my first real gig with a band, we had a band called Dead Lick and we did old Ozzy, Maiden and Sabbath songs at a 9th grade Friday rec at school. sure we were probably out of tune, we had strings break, cables pulling out, the guitar player shocked me every time he touched me, but we were loud as hell and everybody loved it, the older kids brought us out to a keg party and I ended up getting with one of the hottest girls in school, so I would say it ranked up there as fun even with all the little problems we had. I've kept that with me with all gigs since, no matter how bad it gets....it's always good when you are out playing and make the best of it and have fun and entertain and just laugh at life.
