JW - Glad it was a good show, I figured you would like it.

I'm with you, I LOVE the intro to Miss America, one of my all time favorite guitar licks. Killer tone and a really cool lick. Band I was in when I lived in Texas was working up Too Much Time On My Hands when I moved away, we had it almost ready for stage. When I saw them they opened with Borrowed Time, also a great song and I think they did Miss America too, and most of the album Borrowed Time was on. They also had the Chicago horn section there for one song, the one with sax and guitar trade-off solo. Can't remember the song. Why Me? I think that was it...

Tommy and JY did some lick swapping that night too, (yikes, that sounds nasty if you read it the wrong way...) and both are great players. At that time they were both using Marshall stacks, I wasn't close enough to get a look at what effects they were using but I would bet on a couple of Tube Screamers...They also swapped guitars a few times, both played Les Pauls and Strats but they only swapped a couple of times, probably when one went out of tune. Tommy also came out with an acoustic for a couple of songs, and that guy is so small a Les Paul looks big on him...but they were both all over the stage the whole time and looked like they were having a lot of fun. Great performers. I think it was right after the release of Grand Illusion.

Oh, and unfortunately I missed the Memphis All Stars, I had to play that night...but it was worth it... :D
