No Paul, something was scratching at the back of my brain all night and that's when it hit me, it's an awful lot like something "Queen" would do.

The more I hear it, the more I dig it.

I can hear the Zappa, but it still reminds me of Queen.

Just as good to perform it.

Your other tunes are good, but you pull this out of your bag of tricks and you are in new territory.

I have to laugh it bugged me all night long.

Not many tunes get under my skin these days.

Nice job!

That's funny. It does feel like a success to me that it got under your skin lol. I put this in with my other comedy stuff. I've done lots of it. I used to do mostly that. You heard this one right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt2JIrYmYKU

Yeah, but the other has more appeal to a wider fan base.. (imo)

If I heard the "gonna get you" one you just listed, it's interesting but not quite on the level of your new one.

The WOMAN GET ON MY HORSE, sounds like something I would hear live from a band that is about to break into something bigger. I mean, it might be a little odd, but it certainly has some unique appeal.

I could see someone who is a musician in regular rotation, hear that tune and want you to play not in their band, but to play the same venue as they are. (birds of a feather)

Plenty of people sound like other people, the real test of time is to create that which is different, original and good. That sets you apart from the masses. That's pretty much the appeal Zappa had for me. He never sounded like anyone else and even the Queen reference isn't as close as it could be. (and better that way, this isn't Karaoke.)

In short, it's unique enough that people would have a hard time describing it as anything but yours. (imo)

Please say that you guys aren't covering some tune I never heard before you did it..regardless of who wrote it.

I'm sorry. What do you mean? I did all of that song by myself too btw. I'll send you a link to the original. It has a bizarre flash video with it.

I love the guitar work in your songs and you put some great duel riffs in this one. I'm a bigger fan yet !

Paul the video is good !~! (even the grrrr dance music version grrrr) lol

I did notice that the video is very techno/dance. (That should be the REMIX)

I like the version that you originally posted, but the possibilities are obvious, marketing-wise.

I see it like, you release the reg. version and that would be one thing. It would do what it does. Then you already have the dance remix, to release later as it gains momentum. The video is good, but the tune can stand on it's own. (it's comedic, musical AND entertaining)

Yeah the vid is a bit "M for mature audiences", but who cares. You could EASILY get a dance remix version out of the video you have and make a video for that loathsome thing known as MTV. (The correlation between your vid and say "Money for nothing"/Dire Straits is big, except they couldn't pull a dance hit out of "Money for nothing")

I loathe the genre of dance/club/techno, but I just played it for a couple of people that were hanging around and they did start dancing, as well as love the video. (mouth is agape)

I, still like, the one on your profile better, but anything techno/dance that I can sit through is a def. winner and the fact that so little needs to be done to pull a video of regular length, a dance remix and the original which is very different to me, is astounding and very def marketable.

I just wonder who or what will surface and want to produce it, cause I have a funny feeling.

You know I even almost get a weird al yankovic thing from it.

Just watch who or what you let produce you and have a competent attorney oversee EVERYTHING.

Cap - he didn't write it. Paul covered this after he found the vid.

Your version is better as I like the instruments better. As I said I love the way you layer your guitars. Just sounds more real IMO.
