DO NOT LISTEN to the new report by this so-called "independent" panel of "experts" about Mammograms. Continue to get mammograms at age 40 and up. The Mayo Clinic and many other reputable doctors in the field of cancer studies completely disagree with this report that says you can wait until 50.

Some have gone so far as to say that this is the beginning of "Obamacare", the rationing of medicine.

who exactly is saying to wait until 50?

..and Obamacare? Furthest thing from the truth...

That's called propaganda-

The fukin traitors in congress are the ones writing it, and the health insurance companies couldn't have bought a more willing group if they tried, obama included.

Republican party included
Democratic party included.

Healthcare is only the tip of the iceberg - our entire government has been compromised and is riddled with corruption, nepotism, and bias at every level.

The only hope we have is to band together as americans and demand our country back and also demand the reinstatement of our constitution.

I got news for you, the country is in better shape than most times in history. Americans tend to panic at the media's discretion. You want to know what its like to REALLY lose your rights, ask a Japanese American who was around in 1941. We do not have any rights in this country, we never really have. As George Carlin said, we've only got priveleges. And at any time, usually with resounding approval of the sheep we call americans, they can be taken away.

This isn't an "Obamacare" thing; Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was pretty clear today that the Federal Government's recommendations on mammograms has not changed one bit.

The new recommendation that came out today is from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, which a quick check on Wikipedia says, "is an independent panel of experts in primary care and prevention that systematically reviews the evidence of effectiveness and develops recommendations for clinical preventive services."

So this has nothing to do with the government.

Man...

You folks who are quick to place blame at Obama's feet need to pull your heads out of your asses and actually do some simple research. Obama is trying to GET us health care coverage.

Dorks...

Check your FICA withholding.
Mine and my wife's combined from last month could have paid our Home Mortgage including my studio, Both of our Car payments and the auto and home insurance combined for that month.
If they want me to have health care they could just leave me the f**k alone.

I didn't say this was the first signs of Obamacare, experts are saying it. that "independent" panel is funded by insurance companies. If they get your mind set to thinking you need less care, insurance companies make more money.

Because of early screenings, it has been said we have a 40% less mortality rate for prostate and breast cancer.
Unfortunately ,,,, that costs MONEY.
OH I meant 40% less than Canada and Britain.

I thought early detection and preventive health practices would be a big part of the new national healthcare package. That's one of the campaign promises that Lame Duck Obama touted when he was advocating his national healthcare proposal. One of the biggest cost savings we could have is early detection and early cure requiring LESS drugs, LESS surgery, and LESS hospitalization. I would think it better to continue early detection methods for cancer and many other conditions. People should have an annual check-up for all kinds of illnesses. In fact if I ran a health insurance company I would require policy holders to get an annual checkup. Of course that would be too practical and would save everybody too much money. So much for being practical...
