Oh, I didn't check out the link. LOL

He said he was here to provide "reviews" but I couldn't get past the butchered English, which in itself is pretty useless as a review.

LOL

Ah I am not what you call a dedicated poster of music.

I fear losing my music to someone else.

I have some samples, 1-2 here and there, but they are incomplete and I like it that way. (you can't steal that which you didn't hear)

I have 1 incomplete sample on this site and I have 1 more on my artist profile of myspace.

Am I going to post my music anywhere else? Probably not.

I'm sorry but if I got ripped off, it would be too much for me to bear and I would no doubt go on a homicidal rampage. (blush)(sorry)(can't)

You'd be reading about me on the 11 o'clock news. lol And it wouldn't be pleasant to say the least.

Let me understand. Youre afraid about ppl that could possibly steal your music? Funny I have to say. Well you can always register it.

What is the point to make music if the audience do not hear it?

I am wondering...

Thank you Craig. I will participate yeah. It feels nice here.

Some artists just want/need their music spreaded out on the web. I help a bit giving a litle push.

Most "professional" reviewers (whatever that means) simply will not review unsigned artists or just songs. I think I provide a good and honest service. My goal is making ppl hear my own music.

In the end, it is just my opinion, nothing else.

Cheers!

You are right, but I have to say also that the money is irrelevant. Only if you have 1000 plays or more daily you will make decent money.

Do you want to download my music?

Here is a link:

I did not want to post a lot of links.

Ok fisherman, I will check it.

I will review only 1 song at a time. I will pick Hoocie Coochie Man. After your review is posted you can submit more, since it is one at a time. I dont know if you understand my "butchered english"

Title: Hoochi Coochie Man http://www.bandmix.com/fisherman-bob/
Artist: fisherman bob
Genre: Blues

Here is a excellent song for those who appreciate (like me) real blues songs.

It is a conventional blues song. Drums, bass, guitar, harmonica and voice.

Everything is extremely well played. Vocals are great.

Everyone here seems to be experienced musicians.

The overall sound is good. Clean and bright.

All solo parts, harmonica and guitar, are very well performed.

I would like to know more about the band.

Is it a project for Mr. Fisherman Bob? What is he playing here?

On the artists page I got the impression that he is probably the bass player.

He said on "influences" section: "...All big-time blues legends:Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Clapton, Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan"

Very cool song played by a very cool band.

Does the band have a name??

Title: Little Red Robin acapella http://www.ubetoo.com/player.aspx?mediaid=22423
Artist: Jackie O'Grady
Genre: Acapella

Jackie asked me to review this song and I will Do it, of course.

The thing is: It is only a sample. Only 25 seconds.

Nothing much to say.

It is an acapella. I think it is well sung.

Her accent is abit strange wich gives the sample a special scandinavian flavour, if you know what I mean.

After listening to it like 10 times in a row I am liking it.

Could be longer.

Title: Coming home http://www.bandmix.com/craigmaxim/
Artist: Craig Maxim
Genre: Rock Ballad

When lurking in the artists page, what I do often, I was immediatelly hipnotized by this song.

Such a beatifull piece.

Arrangements, sound, solos, voice, lyrics, everything is great here.

Mr. Maxim is an artist that got that country feeling. I have to say thta he is something more.

You can notice he an experienced composer/musician.

The vocal performance here is absolutelly outstanding. The notes choice are just perfect. I like it a lot.

I have just one thing to add. The drum sound is a bit...weak. Does this jeopardize the song? Not at all.

Keyboards here sounds great too.

Indeed a great piece of composition, full of passion.

A must have song.

Title: The Lost Child http://www.box.net/shared/4kbuft787e
Artist: André Van Haren http://www.andrevanharen.com/
Genre: Orchestral

Mr. Van Haren is a kind of composer wich is very rare nowadays.

Orchestral music is very hard to find. At least good ones.

In this piece the author shows an enourmous talent.

This piece is complete. Arrangements are just perfect.

A great piece if you are looking for some great absolute music.

The theme are great. Instrument choices are also great.

Everything is great in this piece.

Everything is well dosed and beautifully placed.

A great work from a professional.

I am looking forward to hear more from this great unknown composer.

A must have orchestral piece.

Excellent!!
