I hope I am not breaking any rules. Since I cannot contact a Admin or Mod I could not ask for the proper authorization as I planed before. Anyway, here it goes...

Greetings,

I am here to review your songs. All genres are allowed. If you want a review just ask. Only one song per request. After your review is posted you can submit another one.

I will hear your work with an open mind, profound respect and impartiality.

If I Do NOT like it, I will say it.

I read music, I understand technical procedures and recording studio issues.

I am producer, I produced hundreds of bands/artists. I am a mixer and I have worked in the music industry for many years.

I will hear your music deeply with complete open mind in a decent pair of studio monitors and top headphones.

Please provide a link for STREAMING. I will not download rar files or hear anything that requires a download.

Your review will be posted in several other sites as well. Email me if you want to know where.

Please, if you have some time left, listen to my songs and give me some feedback

And that´s all.

Title: alien bottle of love http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8346213
Artist: ZEBRABOOK
Genre: Electronic

Zebrabook is a project from Mr. Jon Bushaway.

Mr bushaway is very well known in my reviews with his other project named "the dead company".

Zebrabook is quite different from the musical poetry work of "the dead company".

Zebrabook appears to be a lot more chill out/lounge eletronic music.

I was expecting something tremendously original, as usual, from Mr Bushaway. This is not the case. I think this is very easy listening. Don´t get me wrong, I kinda liked it.

I prefer innovative stuff, I must say. This song is far from being a bad song.

Very well engineered, the sound is crisp and clear. The sounds choice are very nice. Smooth electronic ambiences fill out the track. Panoramic changes gives a pleasant movement sensation. Everything is smooth and very well put.

Unfair if you compare it to "the dead company", wich have an unique freshness and originality, but if are lounge kind of listener this must be switable to your ears.

A nice job indeed.

Title: Virus http://www.ubetoo.com/InIsolation/22280
Artist: In Isolation
Genre: Rock

Imagine the picture: an excellent band, with great musicians, excellent songs, very well arranged, well engineered, well sung, etc.

A rare finding? Yes I agree. There are not much rock bands with true cool songs and also wih that sensation that "this is just what I was looking for".

"In Isolation" is just thid kind of project. Great songs. You can fell that they are very confident in every note they play.

If you are looking for well arranged songs and a nice UK rock vibe you just found it.

In the band´s page they wrote:"...In Isolation stand out because they do what a lot of bands don’t do anymore, they seem to be playing from the heart....

I agree 100%.

The vocals reminds me a bit some of old Duran Duran. I think this is fabulous! In a time that appears that every vocalist cannot sing without serious post processing procedures. The vocal performance is great!

The sounds choice are awesome, guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, everything!

A perfect song for what appears to be a perfect band.

A must have work, no doubt.

No location and everything is on another site that you have reviewed?

(danger sense is tingling)

Sorry, I think I am not understanding you right.

You are complaining that the reviews have links on another site? Is it forbiden? I could not ask for noone since PMs are not allowed. I was inclined to do so.

I did not put my location because I am from Brazil in south america. I did not wish to lie.

I am not a spammer, I make true honest reviews for everyone.

I just want that ppl listen to my music, nothing else. How can I wish ppl listen to my work if I do not listem to them? It is a fair trade in my opinion.

If I am disrespecting any rule I can delete the thread.

What should I do?

Kindest regards

Nah, it's just that people who omit the location generally are suspicious characters 'round here.

You aren't breaking any rules I know of.

It's a minor faux pas that one wouldn't advertise another website here, but if the admins don't care why should I?

Ah, ok, thanx for the fast reply.

I am not like making advertise of sites. I am helping good artists to promote themselves (bad tracks will have bad reviews, of course, so it is not advertising huh?)

Anyway, I do not want to get banned or anything because I am increasing the traffic here. It is kinda silly, right?

Hey Captain, why wont you post up a song? I will be glad to review anything from you. No prejudice whatsoever. Open mind and honest opinions are guaranted.

Do not be shy....it is just my opinion, it will not hurt :)

LOL

Ah I am not what you call a dedicated poster of music.

I fear losing my music to someone else.

I have some samples, 1-2 here and there, but they are incomplete and I like it that way. (you can't steal that which you didn't hear)

I have 1 incomplete sample on this site and I have 1 more on my artist profile of myspace.

Am I going to post my music anywhere else? Probably not.

I'm sorry but if I got ripped off, it would be too much for me to bear and I would no doubt go on a homicidal rampage. (blush)(sorry)(can't)

You'd be reading about me on the 11 o'clock news. lol And it wouldn't be pleasant to say the least.

Most of the musicians here, could benefit from "professional reviews" of their music, but informal assessments of our music, are handled quite well, HERE... "In House" by all the professional musicians and artists already here, and who are all too willing to provide such critiques.

But thank you anyway, and please feel free to participate in our discussions.

:-)

Actaually, I briefly checked out the website, and on the surface it looks pretty cool if they do in fact cut you a check. I'd have to dig deeper.

It's still a trafficking thing. The way it's described is that the more traffic and popular you are on the site, the more "money you make"'. No downloading, only streaming..Interesting, but I'd have to check the fine print.
