Hi, Vinny.

Gonna save the page and check it out later . . .

As you know Mike I got no talent, just ideas. Fruition? No idea? Timescale? When I get to it and can afford the basics. Until then? No idea?

Thanks for the offer though, I'm sure others might take an opportunity?
Keep well.

REv Mike, do you think you are telling us anything new?

Just because you are clergy, do you think some of us wouldn't tell you to shove it? LOL

The bandmix admin is ever-vigilant and omni-present (well call it 24 hours notice). He/She is always on duty, except when they are sleeping in front of the monitors etc.

No one needs to read you pointing out that which is fairly obvious to most of us that have been here more than a month, jr.

It is a membership site, so he wants your money. Beware.

I don't think it's a big deal about mentioning his webstie. I don't think he's trying to lure anybody away from anything. There;s been numerous posts where people ask if others here have heard of various websites. I see nothing wrong with this particular post. We are all adults here (well most are) who can make our own decisions

Thats good stuff. She have a band? She tour ready? Looks like she's already making her way, she's got a video on MTV, but if she is not represented, I know a guy in NY that can help her. Interested? If so, I will put her in contact with the right person.

I think she's solo right now Mike.
No idea about represented I'll write her and find out. The reason I picked her is that she is a local girl, seems like a nice type too.

Thanks for the reply Mike.

Vinny Vinny Vinny!

Just you relax, man. See, many of us here in the forae suffer from what I'll call "MLS," or Musician's Lycanthropic Syndrome. It has nothing whatsoever to do with your post, or its appropriateness.

Some ppl are watching in the wings, lurking, just waiting for someone to say something, & they jump on their victim before having read what was said, or checking out whatever could be talked about for the enrichment of all.

This gets many of the forae participants to begin snapping at each other like mangy wolves with halitosis, unwashed armpits, bad attitudes, & smelly feet.

Far too many of us are dissatisfied with our existence (see just about any other thread) & find it necessary to lash out inappropriately, just to feel like they're making some sort of impact in a world that doesn't really give a damn.

It ain't nothing personal, Vinny. Just grin, or show your teeth, & many will back off. There are some who have MLS to extreme measures, but for the most part, we're potentially harmless, & if you simply ignore the nay-sayers & continue with your topic, the true value of it will eventually come through for many of us, & we can begin to cuss & discuss it on a more mature, less snarling growling snapping hackles-raising animal-like way.

my apologies too Vin, when I first arrived here I was met with the same kind of reception over organizing a peace rally. I jumped on you because when I went to the site, the first thing I saw in big bold letters was about membership. You'd be surprized how many people come here just to get people to leave here to come to their site. If it is your intention to help artists, then by all means, continue developing the site, but the cynicism you experienced from me comes from conditioning by the people in this forum. You always have to be on your defense cause some, like Capt. Scott, will says stupid sh*t just to get a rise out of you. My opinion of your site was quick and irrational, and I am sorry. Your site seems to have potential, unfortunately, it has been my experience that most of those who come to these sites are looking for an easy fix and not willing to pay their dues. The ones that are willing to pay their dues will likely find your site very useful.
