I was saddened when the Beatles broke up. They were my heroes, growing up. When I heard of a movie coming out using their music, I was excited about it until I heard that it wasn't going to use their performances.
The movie seemed to fly by without my getting a chance to see it. It lasted in theaters about a week, I think, & I'd heard that there were copyright issues involved.
Years later, I stumbled across the original soundtrack on LP, & it's one of my more prized possessions.

Evidently, it was a rather stupid attempt to combine Beatles songs with actual WWII stock footage in documentary form.
Still...I wanna see it!
Has anyone in here seen this film?
Peter Gabriel did a killer job on "Strawberry Fields Forever." It was the very 1st recording he did after leaving Genesis.
