Nope.... ain't my band.... Just a buncha members from other bands and they don't belong to bandmix.... You get what you see.... If your being facetious try and remember this is "Crip2nites Venus"... Ya wanna see my bands just g to my myspace page and you'll see "PanikAtack" and "Mugsy" I would consider this my personal diary which shows me in different venues...

Oh.... and if you go through this thread, I have tons of band shots... I don't know why all of a sudden your being a wise ass on my thread... I'm a bit perplexed...

I was actually asked to play a gig on Nov. 29th with one project and December 5th with another.... turned them both down as now I promised my main band, MUGSY, That I'll just play with them exclusively.. I'm gonna try and honor that promise as this project is the most important one to date!

Sux though, when I see the ads up for those 2 dates knowing I turned them down

I think CHippy gets his meds mixed up sometimes, it almost like another person sometimes in his post. I think hes cool thou and kinda makes me think about things a little diferent than I would otherwise, so its great to have you around CHippy!

OK.... MUGSY'S Ready to play out! FINALLY.... We're going to do 3 "dress" rehearsals and have already been offered some primo spots in a few of the larger clubs and one theater by 2 promotional agencies on FB... Lotsa folks interested in getting us out there... Gigs will commence after Christmas!

Here is one of the e-mails I personally received today concerning future bookings:

"the wm dunkirk on the mugsy page is the promotor i work for , He also has a copy band and does duel shows that are well promoted. we also book national acts at patchogue, the Boulton and westbury. I've talked to him about you guys . his office # 631- ***-****............the show he is talking about is at LULu's i believe in feb. most likely his band would play before you guys , dunno but thats usually the setup...... I told fred i would talk to bill about shows a few weeks ago......see ya


He wants Jim to call that office # for other cool venues..."

Im off from the rock band stuff til after the first of the year. Got a couple of solo gigs and some sit in stuff, so I need you to keep that flag flyin!

Oh well.... turns out the 2 guitarists that they found to take my place just couldn't figure out the 12 song set list in time for Sunday so I felt really bad because the band put an ad up on FB desperately seeking someone to take their place to honor this particular gig... I decided that it wasn't fair that not only would they cancel the gig, but it would also tarnish their rep for future gigs.... I soooo don't wanna do this gig as it is far from home and it is a benefit so there goes another non paying gig but I called the vocalist and told him I'd do it... The band is very, very thankful and as long as I honor this one, it'll give them time to find another guitarist before they go and book any more shows... Feels good inside to bail someone out but let me tell you.... Working on Monday is gonna SUCK!!
