I got this rhythm rattling around in my head, and of course had to put it onto a scratch track just to see where it leads.

Since you liked that bass line in strange surf so much I thought you might be interested in this one also (at least the "verse" part), this is a bizarre step for me as far as writing goes... it's going to be a hip-hop song LOL, and the bass line is totally different, but similar in it's design.

So check it out, and understand it's really a scratch demo, the (music) verse is the only real part so far, the chorus is something I just inserted as a place-holder, and since I don't rap (or even sing), I have no vocals recorded, so this takes a lot of imagination to guess what's in my head hahaha.

Let me know what you think.. again, just beginning stages , but soon as I listed back to it, I'm like "hmm.. NP would love this" lol

Oooo, yes! I think this would fit Paul very well, Kramer! The bass isn't coming through for me very well...but then it could just be my clogged up ear holes...

yeah, the bass is really bottomed out, was intentional, but if you got tinny speakers, you won't hear it as it was meant

i actually have 4 distinct vocal melodies in my head .. but words aren't my strong point, but imagine Kayne rapping and and Alicia Keyes doing a R&B vocal, and then with JZ and someone else ad-libbing backup rhymes behind the main rhymes
