I guess since the ex played the flute and she was good at it, but I let that get in the way of my judgement on this. Im sure you could add a great deal of color to any music that you play on. You go Girl!

I understand you there. This is not musically based but the experience is very similar. I had wanted a crock pot for years, Hubby claimed to hate food cooked in a crock pot. Recently he shared the fact that his ex always cooked in a crock pot which was why he didn't like the idea of me cooking in one. I am so glad that his ex didn't play the flute.

How did this thread get to crockpot cooking? Anybody see the photos of the 200 million dollar air bus the Saudie air crew wrecked ,totaled, destroyed, bran new, never even flew, with one little oops. Anyway I love crockpot stew, soups etc. It gives you enough time to listen to some soothing music ,like Colors.
Any body got any good crockpot recipies

That really is a fine piece of acoustic rhythm playing in my opinion, Colors.

Just curious, is your acoustic an Ibanez too?

Nope Howlin'

My acoustis is a cheap Takimine.

I think my wife paid $270 brand new for it in 1993. We were dating, and I walked into this small guitar shop and picked it up and started playing. It was the best sounding acoustic I'd played at the time, and I made that comment to her. She remembered (as all women do!) and purchased it later for a present.

I've been looking at upgrading, but I've only played a couple acoustics that I like better than my cheap Takimine.

Acoustic guitars seem to be something that you really have to fit to yourself; they are like the ultimate custom instrument. You can play two dozen of the things, ranging in price from $100 to $3,000, and it really doesn't make a difference - you just have to find the one that works for you.

So I'm still looking.

One thing is - I have pretty small hands, so I need a small neck (one reason I don't play Les Pauls; I can't get my hands around the neck comfortably). The Takimine I own has a pretty decently thin neck for an acoustic. I've always felt comfortable playing it.

Colors:
If you ever see a Les Paul Goddess laying around you should pick her up and give it a feel.
Yep thats right, the Christian rocker is telling you to go feel up a Goddess LOL.
I have small hands and almost no thumb at all  from my Moms side of the family. My Goddess is sooo much easier to play than my Strat, no comparison really.
Just a thought. :D
