I've been a fan for a long while now. Couldn't happen to a cooler cat! Knock KC on it's ass with your new project! Looking forward to many more great reports!

Thanks for your support. For so many years we have tried to get into the big blues venues. There's SO MANY blues acts in K.C., many of whom have been playing for DECADES. It's TOUGH to break into that circuit. With this latest project I've taken a different view. I just want to play ANYWHERE. I don't care what the venue is. We need to get in front of people, the more the merrier. This last gig was a very pleasant surprise. Country fans are way more sophisticated than they are portrayed to be. Whether you like country or not, you have to admit that the precise musicianship of the top country acts IS very impressive. Country fans appreciate all good music. I found that out in a most pleasant way (and got a repeat gig out of it). So I'm NOT going to pursue one type of venue. We've got two blues venues in town that are booked for AT LEAST A YEAR on Fridays and Saturdays. Why even bother to try and get in them? Hopefully some day they'll call me, but I'm not going to hold my breath. We're going to go play, anywhere, any place, any time. (As long as we can make some money at least...)
