John Legend really tore the roof off Houston last night. I know theres not many smooth R&B fans out there but he really impressed me with his show preformance. And its great to hear a song that is usually full of synchronized beats on his cd, get redon with a real band playing the song. He took these poppy club songs and totally switched them up to a way more rockish appeal. His band was amazing! I mean this wasnt any silly little jazz band. They had two drummers, 3 guitar players, Bass, Sax, trumpet, flute (Mary you would have loved that!), background singers (smokin hot ladies for real!), hugest percussion kit ive ever seen, and the list goes on. The stage was full of musicians just dancein their asses off! I felt like I was at a rock concert not a R&B concert. The best part is at the beginning of the show, while the theater was pitch black, he started singing and no one knew where it was coming from. And all of the sudden the spotlight came on and he was right in the middle of the audience standing on a chair belting out "Redemption Song". Just inches away!! People went nuts, I saw women in gowns and diamonds kickin and screaming just to get close to him lol that was funny as hell! Anywho he was stellar and I really enjoyed Mr Legend
