As per RGMixProject's recent post, I'm curious as to who has a completed CD. If you have one, whether it be pro or demo, please post on here, along with details of the recording process (studio or home) and if it's available for us.
I have my own homemade one, just a bunch of originals that I put down (mostly with a drum machine), hoping to have my band redo them as a pro CD project, but, alas, that never happened. Maybe someday...

Oh, and I know different people on here have said in one post or another that they do have CD's, but I'd like to get them all together on this one post.

I had a CD once but I needed the bread so I cashed it in. :P

I still have a vinyl 45 that gets played on Dr Demento from time to time.

If I ever get my new house built, I'd love to produce an album of a bunch of my tunes. I'd prefer to use a live band in the studio rather then frig around with the computer thing.

I have 2 CD's; hand- lettered.
Either sold or handed out as Demos.
I have enough recorded songs for 2 more, but I'm waiting for copyrights, first . . .
Never again will I mail in a a CD for copyright, with their damned 2 year beaurocratic delay . . .

I am working on it. Gawd, it would be nice if I could spit out 3 CDs before I reach Tina Turner's age. :(

ALan, did you send that in certified and did you retain the confirmation of delivery? If so, then that should be good enough to go ahead with your CD...

Nothing of my own, but there was a fine CD called "Please?" by Funk Me Fester, where I wrote 1/3 of the tunes & played bass, acoustic & elect 6-string & sang as a band member.

Does that count?

I do wanna do one of my own someday, though.

Yeah, I did, Bob.
They USED to sign for CDs . . ..
But even though I PAID for this U.S. Government service (signed certified mail) - they apparently do not sign for anything, anymore. So - they just ignore it.
(Thanks for the extra $6, Alan).
.
They take my money and then just toss my CD on their mountain of CDs, and let it languish . . . for 2 years.
.
I have no proof that they even received it.

They've done this before. My first notice that they had my CD in their posession was 9 months later, when they mailed me my copyright.
.
So I just keep writing and recording new music.
But I haven't been able to safely post any music until at least 1-1/2 or 2 years after I recorded it.
.
By the way - so far I have copyrighted 54 songs through the Libray of Congress . . .
