The one thing we ALL truly share in one form or the other, seems alot of people could read Victor Wooten's "The Music Lesson" I am not a fan of his bass playing as a whole, however his base knowledge of how we re born in one form or another already knowing music, that I don't see the argument.

....um, nope. Don't see any arguments there. Wouldnt it be awesome if that was how it really was? Like I said Cat, hopefully you'll have a smooth ride here. But if you don't, I'll make sure not to get all "judgy" on ya

Yep, it's not that old, and I don't feel that old. So that's cool, music, ever watched standing in the shadows of Motown? I apologize if I sound philosophical, but to me it is, I look at it this way, try and sing a song and send a message with nothing but foul language (of which I use my share and others shares too) and it cant be done, I can hear Cap Scott typing already, if it can be done he's all over it, anyway, it's the soul of it all that gets me.

Cat,
That statement made me think of one of the most soulful and heart felt songs I ever heard.

Joan Armatrading's "Save Me"

What do Ya think?

Now your getting closer, people say things for a reason, even the worst of us, even the most foul mouthed, other wise we would be silent, our brains would deem so, some like to hear themselves, some defend themselves and some simply have soul, yes, save me.

And hey is there really any other kind, southern fire. I am working on it, actually have 2 up but for some reason they don't show on the profile and to be honest with ya all, I am far more interested in creating and laying down bass lines than messing with the computer, have a feeling there would be a lot less name calling and smut out of you know who if everyone were busy playing and come to the table collectively with something. LMAO I am having fun with it though. Had a good friend once yell at a girl acting stupid sitting next to me and chewed her ass and said, would ya mind not actin stupid when your sittin next to cat and me, I don't want to get hit, we still laugh about it. I will get something up, gotta run, off to play. 8)

Ugh! In between whiny guitar players whining about their mics, which they shouldn't have because they CAN"T sing and the phone ringing from a little girl who can't stay out of trouble I only got through 2 sets. Anyway, peace and quiet for 3 days tomorrow afternoon, just me and pro tools. John is heading to Corpus, so practice time is all mine. I'll check out that box, is there just a he box or is there one for a she fox. LOL

By the way, when I was a young girl living in Troup Texas, we used to have to run to Kilgore, take the back seat out of the Monte Carlo and pack it full of beer to take back to Troup. Those were fun days living in east Texas. many years ago. I got my first drivers license there.
