Can't believe this post is still going! I thought you were finished posting here, Mike (just kidding). And thanks for the Lennon compliment, Vocals & Bass. I get TJGardner is saying - though I still hate Pantera. They've become nothing more than a symbol to me. I will say that Dimebag (as dirty as I feel saying that name) is a much better guitar player than I am.

I gotta tell ya davis... you really missed out on the intellectual conversations we were having on the 'to wear a costume or not' thread here on bandmix... I have a feeling you would have made the whole event just that much more interesting.
I had a gentleman in there who is quite a bright young lad... talking about my shclong and calling me a "muscle man". He's got a degree too. I saw it on his profile... it's from MSU. And its a music degree.
I recall working right next to a guy who had a music degree from berkley, CA. We worked at the mars music in Torrence, CA. He was a nice guy. He ran the whole guitar/bass/drums/flute lessons area, and was a private music lessons teacher too.
SARCASM POWERS DEACTIVATE...
Anywho, nice chatting with ya, glad yer back.

-well the important thing is... did you catch the sweet moment where we made up? I thought for sure when I initiated that -ppul where going to acuse me of being one and the same with davis22 (what a world). In our defence: I think we both were quite controlled... at least we didn't resort to your-mom assaults (btw how is your mom?).
P.S. go ahead and send a check for the entertainment we provided you.

well maybe if the entertainment were illustrated with crudely drawn pictures and scenarios that never happened like along the lines of dragon battling and ogre battles(preferably with a shrek looking one)their might have been an imaginary check to pay for the imaginary damages....im mostly kidding but it takes up my time.

I wouldn't consider it a waste of time to read our 6 page tiff... you could learn a lot about witt... it's a virtual 101 class on how to biotchslap someone too. davis and I had fun, many spectators enjoyed it too, but I can imagine you went away feeling somewhat empty if you were looking for a pantera discussion... you could always try reposting. just a thought.

Cat Killer I like you... even if you do kill cats...
so here goes

here lies what started out as a pantera-haters thread and turned into a love story between myself and, um, well, um,
myself.

I'd like to thank the academy, davis22, v&b, mcawber, and anyone else who chimed in. I'd like to thank the fans -both actual and percieved, I'd like to thank the moderator(s) for not sensoring us and allowing our little biotchfest to fester...
I'd like to thank our sponsors: coca cola and THC Inc.
I'd like to thank elvis, gummi bears, and most importantly the color blue.

When I think back on the pantera-haters thread I will remember the good times... I will remember this thread like the photo at the end of rocky I where rocky and apollo cree are punching each other at the same time... only with two guys not nearly as buff, or as rich, or as handsome, or boxers at all really...just two guys biotchslapping each other as best they can.

...and now, life must go on without the pantera-haters thread...

...but let it go softly into that great night...

Well....Then, I will admit. I love Panteras version of Nugents, 'Cat Scratch Fever'. And I hate Ozzy's version of Mountain's 'Mississippi Queen'. Seger's 'Turn The Page' By Metalica? Not for me. Ted Nugent Featuring Molly Hatchet nailed Mountains 'Mississippi Queen, In my opinion. Thats all I have to say. Bye......
